A bit pricey, but what isn't these days.
It would be nice to have an improved tv setup. (Roku...too much bother!)
It would also be helpful if all of the light switches were labeled.
Never found instructions for the upstairs or downstairs fireplaces, so we did not use them.
Dehumidifiers and air cleaners would have been a nice touch too.
Sofa bed, main beds and floor rugs need updating too (old and worn).
The downstairs game room was very enjoyable and entertaining for our kid's.
It was a nice experience overall, but not one I'm needing to do again anytime soon.

There are plates, cups etc, but no salt, coffee filters or other basics. Overall great experience.

The cabin was wonderful. Hot tub awesome. Fireplace not working but staff came and fixed promptly. Would highly recommend and plan to return.

We absolutely loved the cabin. Everything was spotless. The cabin had a homey feel to it. Very relaxing. This is our first time using this company but it wont be the last time. We plan to use them again next Thanksgiving. They even called to make sure that we were happy with everything while we were there. Excellent customer service. Definitely highly recommend this cabin and this company!!

The cabin was clean, and well maintained. The only thing negative I saw was the huge stain on the carpet in the lower bedroom. otherwise, I enjoyed the stay and the location is perfect to all attractions.

We stayed as a family (2 kids ages 1.5 and 7) and we had a great time at this cabin. Location was fantastic, the games room and hot tub were well appreciated. Overall we loved our stay and would stay again. We did have a few things we thought could be improved.

Pros:
-location, easy access to necessities in Pigeon Forge, easy access to hikes/scenic drives in Gatlinburg
-so many things in cabin to entertain
-felt so private even with other cottages all around
-outside spaces well equipped with seating, tables, fire table
-hot tub was fantastic
-laundry was really nice to have in unit
-lots of extra blankets and pillows available, lots of towels provided
-easy check in/check out

Cons:
-no basic kitchen supplies provided; most cottages we have rented have had basics like salt, pepper, oil, tin foil. It didn't hinder our stay, but a bit annoying to have to purchase full items like this to use for just a few days.
-general dishes in the kitchen were lacking. Only 2 wine glasses, 2 plastic cups, things like that. We did ok with just the 4 of us, but if you had a larger group there wouldn't be enough.
-beds were not very comfortable
-we saw a couple of cockroaches... not sure if that's something that just is what it is in the mountains though.

This was our family of 4 first experience staying in a cabin. We had an awesome time!. The location is minutes away from so many activities and restaurants. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub each night. Played games and watched a couple movies together. Initially we couldn't get the power on in the theater/game room and couldn't figure out how to get the the shower on. The maintenance team was awesome! The representative was very friendly and accommodating. I hate I didn't remember her name. She sent the best maintenance guy Randy and provided an eta of his arrival. It would be nice to somehow control the air downstairs. It's way colder, especially the bathroom. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. We plan to visit again.

My experience with Cabins USA was great! "Almost Heaven" was a great cabin for my family of 6. It was super comfortable and had plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained. The location less than a mile off the main road in Pigeon Forge was great. It was close enough to get where you wanted to go quickly but far enough away to feel like you were escaping the bustle. The check in and check out process was seamless as well. Thanks for a great experience.

This property was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I see why it is called "Almost Heaven!" This was our first experience with using Cabins USA, and our first time staying in Pigeon Forge, TN. We did have an issue with the theater TV, but the maintenance man, Mr. Carl, came in and fixed it. He even left a note to let us know he hooked us up, which was so nice!! We'll definitely stay again! Thank you, Cabins USA, for a great experience!! Also, thank you, Ms. Tina, for great customer service!!

The cabin was spacious/clean and located in a great spot minutes away from parkway where food and attractions are located as well. 10/10 definitely recommend. Will certainly book again. Stayed 5/12/23-5/14/23

I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I loved the cabin. I sat on the top and bottom deck. I played pool and watched movies in the theater room. The hot tub was so relaxing. Definitely, plan to visit again.

Great place, extremely clean. Only suggestion would be to consider replacing the furniture in the upstairs living room. The rocker had a piece falling off the bottom, and needed new cushions. The couch was not comfortable for sitting at all.

The cabin was beautiful and cozy and very close to everything in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville!! My family and I had a beautiful vacation this year and this was our third stay with Cabins USA. I highly recommend!!

Almost heaven is one of the greatest cabins we visited. We only had 1 bad experiences. The upstairs shower would not get hot. It ran cold. So we had to use the sink to clean. Bummer!!!

Everything worked. Everything was clean. Was a very nice area. Highly recommend!

This cabin is amazing it had everything we needed. I would book it again. The location is close to everything you need.

We had a wonderful time in our cabin! The only thing is we were running out of space in the trash bin on the front porch when it got to the end of the week, it would've been nice to have someone pick up trash in the middle of the week. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

I was so impressed with this cabin and the amenities. The fire pit had plenty of propane. The hot tub was clean. The cabin was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed to get started. It's also much bigger in person. There are two decks which are super private so you feel like you are surrounded by nature. We stayed with another family and I liked that there is a bedroom suite in the lower level and one in the main level. That also made it feel much more spacious.

Almost heaven was a wonderful cabin for any family. It was close to all the main attractions and the swimming pool was great for the kids. We will be staying with Cabins USA in the future.

This vacation was a long overdue. Cabins USA helped make our family vacation memorable. The cabin check in/check out was fast and easy (you just show up and unlock your door and close up when you leave). The cabin was clean and was as described. The hot tub was relaxing and playing pool was great. Although there are neighbors in close proximity, the area was peaceful and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

It was all about the granddaughter and according to her, "Best Cabin Ever"

We had a rough start to our weekend, when we arrived at our original cabin it didnt have electric or water so we had to rent a motel for the first night. But when I called the next morning and talked to a manager they moved us into another cabin an from then on our visit was awesome the kids loved the games and movie theater downstairs and the adults loved the upstairs

We arrived on October 29 and stayed for 5nights. The cabin 'Almost Heaven' was a great stay. We really enjoyed the cabin life. It was our first time in a cabin. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Although the jet tub did not work, we did enjoy the hot tub. And the kids enjoyed the game room/ theater room. I would recommend this cabin to others. It was such a lovely stay. Thank you Cabins USA. We look forward to booking with you again in the future.

I really enjoyed the stay. We just really hate that the jacuzzi tub and fire place did not work ! Game room was amazing. Was not able to connect the WiFi to the upper room tv overall it was calm and peaceful

Cabin was amazing. There were a few things broke/ missing, I made sure I reported. I would also recommend on the check out paperwork they should add the link to check out early. You cannot do that by the number provided. Great place, already looking to book again!

This was our first experience and it was a very pleasant one. The amenities at the cabin were wonderful! We all enjoyed it so much that we have already reserved a cabin for next year!!

Was a great cabin! Had so many things to do for our kids. They loved the air hockey table and arcade game! The pool table and hot tub was great for the adults. The cabin is much larger then the pictures give credit to. It was a perfect distance from the Parkway!

Only thing is the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom fills but doesn't run.

We will definitely be back to stay with Cabins USA !

Great cabin. Easy drive to the cabin and loved the flat parking and nice views of the mountain. Only a few miles to Pigeon Forge so definitely will stay here again. Check in and out was so easy so highly recommend this cabin and company.

Cabins were absolutely spotless. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Had everything a guest would need to cook. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great. However, the hot tub needs updated. Not all the jets worked in the hot tub or the tub in the master bedroom. The surround sound with the theatre needs updated. Kids said the quality of sound wasn't that good. The sleeper doesn't sit well in the living room area. Makes you feel lop sided. Other than those things, we loved the location and layout. If this cabin were updated, this would be our first choice every time we visit. Thank you.

I fell in love with the cabin as soon as I walked in. It was EVERYTHING I expected and more. I would definitely book again.....soon!

Need more seating upstairs. TV downstairs is too large for such a small room. Enjoyed staying there though. Great location.

Almost Heaven was a perfect fit for our family. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

We really like this cabin and thought it was perfect for two couples.

A few suggestions...the downstairs movie room is a cute idea, but the stadium chairs are not comfortable for watching a long movie and they get in the way of playing pool. They are way too close to the pool table. A sectional sofa would be so much better in that room. The main level living room doesn't have enough seating either. A sectional sofa would be better in this room too. There was only one wine glass in the cabin. That was a bummer. The kitchen needs to be restocked with barware.

Overall the cabin was great and we were very satisfied. The staff with Cabins USA were very friendly and we have a very good experience.

Love this cabin. Just needs a couple things addressed. #1.The upstairs bathroom commode would not cut off. Water would continue to run. (water bill has to be outrageous and it's also wasteful) We reported this when we stayed back in May of this year. #2. Only 1 eye works out of 4 on the stove in kitchen. We have absolutely no complaints and will stay here again. We just feel it important to fix these couple things.
This cabin is so family friendly and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Me & My Husband stayed in "Almost Heaven " for our 1st year Wedding Anniversary, it was like being in Heaven. This cabin was Amazing!!! It was exactly like the pictures, very clean & comfortable, we will definitely return. The only problem that we had was finding the cabin after we checked in, it was raining & starting to get dark. The main street "Midway Dr,", that you turn onto to get to the cabins was covered by trees & the name of the property "Arrowhead Resort"wasn't seen until after you made the turn after finally finding the street to turn on. I think it should be better labeled, more signs to locations of you cabin!!

The cabin was great overall. We did have a few issues, one being the dishwasher leaked all over the floor so we just hand washed the dishes we did use. The theatre tv had some WiFi connection and volume issues a few times but we were able to manage and watch it a a couple nights. Some of the kids slept down there in that room and the second bedroom. The cable didn’t work in the downstairs bedroom other than a few channels, but other than that it was an amazing stay. We didn’t contact staff because we were mostly out touring our entire stay and were only there at night mostly. We cooked breakfast a few times and dinner on the grill once while at the cabin. Definitely enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely recommend Cabins USA and will stay with them again in the future. Our first trip will now be the first of many for our family.

My experience with Cabin USA was nothing short of amazing! Almost Heaven is exactly what our time in this cabin was... My entire family was accommodated in so many ways! Almost Heaven was clean, safe, pleasant stay and we will definitely be back 😊

Such a lovely Cabin. We had a very relaxing time. Only downfall was it all flew by to fast. We loved the location and how close it is to everything.

Didn't know about cabin rentals until i came across cabinsusa. Used to never take vacations being a chronic workaholic. I promise to vacation with you in the future. Cabin USA is definitely what the Doctor ordered.

We love everything but the hot tub didn't work or the jacuzzi tub didn't heat up but overall we love it and ready to book again

We had a great stay at the Almost Heaven cabin. The amenities were awesome. The cabin was very comfortable and filled with fun activities. It would be great if staff could turn on the hot tub and turn the temperature up so it could be warm by the time guests arrive. We couldn't enjoy the hot tub until the next day due to the hot tub taking at least 6 hrs to heat up. Also we had two dirty towels in the bathroom downstairs, and one towel had blood on it. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

Loved this cabin! We went for a weekend getaway with the family and it was perfect. We will be back

The cabin was lovely! Clean and even decorated with a Christmas tree! The hot tub was clean and maintained. We loved the fireplace and game/theatre room. The only real issues were light bulbs burned out in the main bathroom and both of the couches being a little worn and uncomfortable. Also, the video game did not work very well-the joy stick was broken. Otherwise, we loved the cabin and would stay there again

The cabin was very nice and relaxing but we did have a few problems, the arcade game downstairs was broke and wouldnt work properly so we couldn't use that. The drain plugs in both bathrooms wouldnt work to keep water in the tub. And we could not get the showerheads to work in either bathrooms to be able to take a shower. But apart from those minor issues we had an awesome time and cant wait to come back!!!

Excellent customer service. We got lost on the way to the cabin & it was dark. When we called the office, we didn't get an answer but someone returned our call. The person that called us back, talked us through how to get to the cabin & stayed on the phone with us until we made it all the way to our cabin. In my opinion, she went above & beyond! This is our second time booking through Cabins USA & we are already making plans to book through them again next year.

We had a great time. The cabin was very nice inside. We just had one problem the fireplace wouldn’t work. It would have been nice to have a fire and look at it. Other than that we enjoyed the cabin. It was very close to everything.

We loved Almost Heaven. We did have a couple of issues. One was the water in the upstairs tub dripped constantly, also the dishwasher leaked when we tried to use it. Our biggest complaint was the floor; they looked clean but they were filthy. We had to go buy a mop and mop the floor so our feet and socks did not turn black. Overall we enjoy the cabin and our visit to Pigeon Forge.

The shower was broke in the upstairs bathroom, the jacuzzi in the upstairs bedroom the plunger would not work to hold the water in so we didn’t get to use it, the vents all need cleaned off and and air conditioner vent and filter in the closet upstairs needed changed and the arcade game would not stay working

We enjoyed this cabin and location very much!! We will definitely be coming back again in the future. Just had a few issues with the cabin as far as maintenance issues, a few light bulbs were out, the jacuzzi tub jets did not work. But the beauty of the location and scenery out weighed these small details!!!

Great cabin beautiful setting

The cabin was very nice and clean. Overall it was a great stay. However someone should check that all offered amenities are in good working order. We did have several issues with the amenities. The hot tub foamed up like there was soap in it. also when I did get the foam out and got in it Bleached my shorts and irritated my grandsons skin so bad we couldn't use it. The Theatre system wasn't connected so we had to go through and connect it to be able to use it. The sound bar wasn't hooked up and the way the tv was mounted we couldn't fix it. The grill wouldn't light. The bathtub on the main level continually dripped and would not cut off all the way.

Over all nice cabin in need of a little TLC (just small stuff) remotes for tv need to be a little more user friendly, maybe a laminated sheet to explain how to use the theater devices ! Great location & we had a great time !!

I love the cabin however parking was tight.
I had my car but the neighbors from the other cabins was parked in front of my cabin.
The way that the cabins are built they didn't think about parking.
The only suggestion I have is the owners of almost heaven needs to have the wifi code posted somewhere. I had to call the office until I got a live person.
Also the remote controls for the lights never worked so we could not turn the lights on in the living room.

DVD player didnt work first night but was fixed next day

We have stayed twice now with Cabins USA. Both times both locations were nice and clean. No complaints about the check in or check out. Kids and family had a great time.

We were very happy with the cabin. The location just 5 min from the parkway was perfect. Also your express check in and just a phone call to check out was awesome. Thank You! We will definitely be back.

The cabin was nice but could use a few repairs. The decor was very nice and it was relatively clean. It may be beneficial to leave directions for how to operate the many remotes. The hot tub was nice and the porch and deck were relaxing. As the cabins are renovated, make sure trash is cleaned up and removed. There were multiple tv boxes thrown in the woods beside our cabin. Overall, a nice place to stay and a company we would use again.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the property.hated to leave will definitely try to book Almost Heaven again.

Stayed over 3 nights in January 2018..... No issues booking, received check in details early enough. Just a tip on the directions.... Don't use GPS, use the directions they provide in the email. 3 different GPS apps gave the same directions and they were wrong!

Did not use any of the outside amenities (jacuzzi, grill, swing, etc...)

Cabin was clean and all towels and linens were there so I never had to contact customer service for anything.... Gas fireplace was a nice touch and worked great. Kitchen does provide some utensils and cooking ware that was enough for us but we didn't really use any of it as we ate out every day. Only thing we used was the coffee pot... It worked.

Downstairs was nice and clean, didn't use the bedroom or bathroom down there so I can't comment on that. We didn't use the pool table but it looked like a pool table. Air Hockey table was "OK". Don't expect a nice quality one, guess it was good enough to pass the time while we there there. Upstairs bedroom was nice with plenty of storage space for us. We did not use the jacuzzi bathtub so I don't know if it worked or not. Everything was pretty comfortable for us.

Now here's my list of complaints: They removed the arcade machine from downstairs that everyone was complaining about not working (didn't bother me, just mentioning). There is also still a tear in the seat of one of the theater chairs.... I can overlook those... My complaint comes from the "Home Theater" set up...... First, there's way too many remotes down there that don't go to anything. That's fine, I can handle that, but they should be removed as they can be confusing for some..... However there is NO "Theater" sound. Sure there's a soundbar in front and on the back wall a Subwoofer is up in a corner and there's other speakers along the back wall. Problem is, they don't work or either they are not hooked up..... The soundbar does work, sounds good, and does get loud but it's hardly "Theater" sound. Oh, and there's NO remote for the soundbar and the All-in-One remote doesn't work for it. Only way to turn it on/off and raise/lower the volume is from the unit itself.

I wish I could say that was my biggest issue...... My biggest issue is regarding the Gas Fireplace and thermostat upstairs.... There is only 1 thermostat for the whole house, it's located at the top of the stairs in the living area where the fireplace is..... When you use the fireplace it shuts the heat off basically to the rest of the house. This was discovered when one of our party woke up at 5am and decided to sit by the fire and read..... The rest of us woke up about an hour later FREEZING! Upstairs and downstairs. It's only issue of course of you go in the winter and I'll chalk up to a lessoned learned and make sure I ask next time if there is a separate thermostat for the downstairs at least.....

Overall we loved our stay at Almost Heaven. As some others have said we did find a few things that did not work. We could not get the gas fireplace to come on. It may have just been a pilot light issue, but with no instructions on how to light it we didn't take a chance. Also, we could not get the TV in the master bedroom to work. The cable box had power, but it wasn't connecting to the TV. I tried every option I could think of in trying to change cables or input source, but nothing worked. That being said we loved the theatre room and enjoyed several movies during our stay. The beds were very comfortable. It was a great few days to wind down from Christmas and, we would definitely consider staying here again.

The cabin was great except there were a lot of maintenance issues. The hottub in the master did not work, several lights did not work, only one functioning remote control and there was no instructions to anything as there has been in previous cabins with cabinsusa we've stayed in (like the theater area and the gas grill). Still the cabin was extremely comfortable inside and out, it was very close to everything, and very reasonably priced. I'd stay there again.

Okay, let me first say that the cabin itself was very nice in the fact that you had plenty of space with the 2 bedrooms and game room downstairs. The location is very nice with close proximity to Pigeon Forge and lots of activities. The GPS could not locate the address that we were given, so I am not sure why that is, but we found it finally.

We had a few issues with those being:

If something is broken or does not work, please as the owner of the cabin, remove that from the description since people often will rent your cabin based on the amenities. The arcade game is BROKEN and is not operable and should be either replaced with an operable arcade game or again remove from description. We had 2 little ones with us that would have enjoyed playing that, so we had to find other activities to do with them.

Please at least supply potholders in the kitchen to allow those who do utilize the kitchen can do so without having to worry about not having a potholder. There was lots of seating in the kitchen with the 4 chairs and barstools. Lots of pots and pans to bake with, however if you need a big soup pan, you may want to bring one, since there is not one available.

The living room only had a couch and 1 chair that the springs underneath were broken, so we were concerned with the support on that. With there being 4 adults and 3 kids, we were not all able to sit comfortably together in the living room. One of the ceiling fans in the living area does not work and yes, the prior post about them being dusty is correct. They could use some spring cleaning in the cabin.

The master was HUGE and the Jacuzzi tub was wonderful and a very nice touch to the master area. Bathroom areas were nice and roomy as well. The only negative with the master is the mattress, it could use a new one, since there are very deep impressions and made our backs hurt after a couple of days on it.

The downstairs bedroom was HUGE as well with lots of room and very comfortable.

The 2 issues with the game room is the arcade game not being operable as mentioned above and should be updated or removed from the property description and photos. The pull out sofa is in fact broken, we had 2 kids on it, but with adults they may be very uncomfortable since the bed is warped.

We did not utilize the hot tub while there, so not able to comment on that. Lots of outdoor seating and a nice touch with the front porch swing.

We would have give the cabin higher ratings if a couple things were fixed.

1. The ceiling fans were very dusty on top and they definitely hadn't been dusted in about a year. There was so much build up on the top of them and it was coming down on the sides.

2. The remote controls for the TV's and everything that came with them were not in the correct rooms. We had to figure out where they all went.

3. The video game machine in the entertainment room was not in working condition. It probably has been like that for some time as you could pull the top part out of it. If you are going to advertise it as coming with it, it should work properly or remove it from the listing and photos.

otherwise, overall a very good experience. Just pay attention to details like cleanliness and everything in working condition and it would have been a 10/10 on everything!

Overall the visit and accommodation's were very good. The unit was nicely located and comfortable but lacked a thorough cleaning. Some of the negative comments of previous guests were still an issue when we were there and the toilet seat in the lower washroom was only held on by one bolt. I can't believe the cleaning personnel missed that and should have reported it for repair. Will definitely come to Pigeon Forge again but will likely pick a different cabin.

We we're in need of bed linens and did not receive them until 9:30 pm after 4 phone calls beginning at 5:30.

Loved the property and had a great time.

A couple of issues I am unsure if you are aware of.
1. One side of the hot tub cover is missing the piece to hold the arm together. We had to balance the pieces together on each other each time we wanted to open or close the hot tub.
2. One of the theater seat coverings is badly ripped downstairs.

This is the first time booking with Cabins USA and loved it. It was clean amd a very easy process!

We had a wonderful time. Cabin was amazing and kids all had a great time. Plenty of room for them to play and run around.

Enjoyed our stay . Very clean and nice cabin . Only a few minutes from main strip . Only cons we had was it's extremely close to other cabins and parking is tight . And if your plan on cooking bring dishes to cook on . There isn't enough pots and pans and cookware. And location is on a very steep paved hill .

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family!! The only problem we had was with the gas grill. When we turned it on the gas had apparently been on already and we had a close call to a burning. Lost some arm hairs. Other then that we had a wonderful time and all want to come back again next year!!!

We really loved our stay in the cabin; it was perfect for us. The kids were entertained with the game room and the hot tub at night. There was plenty of sleeping room for our party of 7. Thank you for a great stay; we are looking forward to returning!!!!

The cabin was very clean. We checked in without any problems. Check out was very easy as well. The amenities were wonderful and as described. Very close to Pigeon forge and easy access. We will come back again.

Very excellent experience. Everything was exactly as pictured. There was some minor damages to the appliances, but not to the point where it prevented the use. We were very impressed with how clean the cabin was when we arrived and very pleased with our entire trip. We look forward to coming back next year!

We picked this cabin for the amenities and the open floor plan. The cabin was beautiful but there was just quite a bit of wear on the chairs in the basement and the pool table. The refrigerator was missing the handle and the microwave was in pretty rough shape. Honestly those things didn't bother us as much as it was not very clean. I feel like the toilets and the showers were clean but the floors were pretty bad. We had to sweep the floor not long after we got there and the floors were sticky. Overall we liked the cabin but for what we paid we were pretty disappointed. I do very much recommend this company. I liked how easy the booking process and the check-in are.

Beautiful cabin, exactly as described. Had problem with smart tv in theater room connecting to wifi, but was handled promptly after reporting problem. Only thing we didn't like, was distance to pool and fact that you had to drive to it, you could not walk to it as stated. FYI, there is a huge japenese hornets nest in tree close to deck and one actually got in the cabin, would be good if it was removed.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Only complaint no wifi. Service guy came out first day checked big screen in theater room said needed box. Different service guy came out next day but he said same thing. We were looking forward to late night net flix movie in theater room. Also fridge having issues. Great time with our grandchildren playing pool and air hockey. Very convenient.

It would be nice if rocking chairs were also in the front and the locking of the doors was made a little less complicated..... It would also be very helpful if a phone book was in every cabin .... I had to spend hours on the phone searching for local numbers this were the only downfalls about the trip

Enjoyed our stay overall. Great location. Had a few minor issues. Floors were not clean. Upstairs room fan and parts of stove did not work but were repaired by our second day there. Also, we could not connect to Wi-Fi and although addressed twice with service department this was never fixed.

Great location

Nice cabin. Good location for Pigeon Forge. The beds were very comfortable, couldn't have been better. Everything was as advertised. There should be some basic instructions for the large TV and sound system. I am pretty good with this stuff and it took me a while to figure out the TV. I never got all the speakers working. All in all, a good property. I would stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Almost Heaven. We are likely to return again. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking amenities. The cabin is beatiful and was decorated for the Christmas holiday. The express check-in and check-out were very easy and convenient. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

I want to first start by saying that my kids loved the place. They are already talking about bringing their kids to Almost Heaven. However...
My wife and I had a little less than "heavenly" experience. Overall, I will say it was decent, but not for the price we paid. For starters, the toilet in the master bathroom smelled like urine during the entire time of our stay. We even had to close the bathroom doors at night so we wouldn't smell it in the bedroom. Next, the gas fireplace upstairs didn't work. We even had 2 maintenance guys come out to fix it and they were unable to before we left Pigeon Forge. That would have been a nice benefit since you're freezing when you get out of the hot tub in November. Next, the surround sound for the 85 inch TV downstairs didn't work and there was no remote to turn the TV on. You had to use the buttons on the side of the TV to turn it on and also use the volume buttons on the side of the TV to control the volume. Also, you have to use the Input button on the TV to get it to HDMI1 so the cable would come on. Since college football was in full swing, surround sound would have been nice to have. The maintenance guys who came out said the surround sound wasn't working and they took the sound bar out from under the TV and took it with them. Also, the air hockey paddles were broken, but the maintenance guys brought new ones. There was also a torn screen on the back porch near the hot tub. Not a big deal, but you would like to place to look nice given the price you pay. Oh, and if you want privacy, forget it. These cabins are so close together, you can barely walk between them. I guess I was hoping for a more secluded vacation. It was my first time in a cabin. Chalk it up to a rookie mistake.

Now, if you can get past that, we loved it :)

Almost Heaven is a really nice cabin in all respects. Renters will not be disappointed with their selection. However, a couple of things should be addressed for the best possible retreat.

6 nights were great sleeping. The 7th was not so good. Cars were coming and going at all hours of the night; it's not the cars that were disturbing, it was the headlights of those cars coming right through the bedroom mini blinds. If these were replaces with room-darkening blinds or curtains, the problem would be solved.

The main tv remote was missing. I reported it so I would not be held liable for it. None of the 4 of us could get the tv sets to switch to dvd so we just used the big one for our movies. An instruction sheet would solve this problem too.

The resident raccoon is well trained to access the outdoor trash storage units!

Overall this is a nice cabin in a great location! Close to everything in Pigeon Forge but also not far away from Gatlingburg. It is in a "cabin community" surrounded by other cabins. So if you are looking for seclusion, this is not it. It was nice that it was close to town and on all paved roads!
Other pros: nice rec room! Cool air hockey, pool table, and arcade machine! Great hot tub! Huge tv with 4 movie theatre seats. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Two big bedrooms with king beds! Again, overall generally nice cabin. Great customer service!
Cons: floors REALLY need a good cleaning! Wear old socks!!! Our socks were so dirty we threw some of them out. Had to call maintenance b/c cable was having issues in main room (people were really nice!). Never could get DVD player upstairs to work. Bed on main floor was so creeky every time you move that it was hard to sleep. For the fee you pay for "cleaning" it should be kept up better. Food was stuck on countertops in kitchen upon arrival.
All in all, we probably wouldn't stay at Almost Heaven again but would DEFINITELY stay with Cabins USA. Thanks!!

Loved the cabin, was very comfortable and relaxing. Jacuzzi did not work, but didn't try to use it until last night. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would rent from you again.

Great cabin. The kids loved the theatre room, pool table and air hockey. I personally loved the hot tub on the deck. Really liked the high ceilings and windows. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Would have been nice to know that the amenities included an iron and blow dryer so I would not have brought mine and I even called to confirm that none were in the cabin and was told that was correct. Having designated parking spots would have been nice since you are next to a cabin that has 7 bedrooms and they tended to take up the parking spots and make their own. Not to mention the other cabin next to you that has two parking spots so close that they would need to back out in front of your cabin just to get out of their spots, so the parking could be an issue especially if you have more that one vehicle at the cabin and the other cabins near you are occupied. I would suggest a draining board for drying the dishes that don't go in the dishwasher and to have the refrigerator handle fixed since it was missing. No big complaints and over all a very nice cabin and I would rent it again.

Everything was good with the property, beds made,bathrooms clean, but the floors in the kitchen had something sticky on them and we mopped to clean the stickiness up to keep from tracking the upstairs. The decks should have been swept or blown off because we found cigarette butts on the main deck and ashes from them on the basement deck.
This did not deter us from wanting to stay at Almost Heaven again. I just feel the cleaning staff could have prepared the cabin better. I have used Cabins USA since I started coming to Piegon Forge and will continue.
Maybe a suggestion and this might be occurring already, but have someone from upper management walk through the Cabins to verify the cleanliness for the next customers.

My family and I spent several days in this cabin and loved it. The younger kids liked the "theater" and the older ones enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. All of them enjoyed the pool which was located nearby. My only complaint is the mattress was not the most comfortable, but it was not so bad it ruined the trip. The location is great for enjoying all the sights around and still not having to drive a lot to get there. The area was quiet with beautiful views. We all enjoyed the rockers and outside table and grill. I have used several places in the area to book cabins but Cabins USA is by far the best! I have used them for the past couple of years and always have gotten good service and love the fact they are so helpful when trying to find just the right cabin. Lindsey was awesome, even when I had to change my reservation. We will be back and will definitely use Cabins USA again!

I only have 2 minor complaints: 1) The bedspread in the upstairs bedroom smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in a while; 2) Apparently the person who rented it before us unhooked a cord on the gameroom tv. We called the office and someone was there to fix it within a half hour! Awesome!! Suggestion: It would be good to be sure the tvs are working before the next renter comes in.
Otherwise we LOVED the cabin. It was the second time we've stayed in 'Almost Heaven' and will certainly request it again!!
I love Cabins USA!!!

Company was wonderful. It was a little bothersome that the fees ended up being more than the rental itself. But it was what we needed seeing as we were only able to stay one night. The hot tub did not get very hot but I'm sure its programmed that way. Our cabin was difficult to find as the sign was very little. And there was a dead animal so when you were on the back porch it smelt bad but this isnt something the company can help. Great company. Pleasant service. Definitely will use this company again.

Our party of 4 adults and and 3 children fit comfortably in this cabin. Roomy for a 2 bedroom. The Rec room is great fun with an air hockey and pool table... The in home theater was perfect for Super Bowl weekend!

We went for a family vacation right after Christmas. We had a great time. We will return with and with out the kids. I think we will try summer next time for all the outdoor stuff they have in town.

This is a great place to stay when you visit the Smoky Mountains!! The theater room doubles as a game room it's a great place to have some fun with the whole family.. The hot tub on the covered deck is a great place to relax after a long day.

The original property was not what I expected to find. I was a late checkin so I went to the office the next morning to see what we could do. The office staff was good to work with to help find this cabin as there were some maintenance issues with original booking. I was happy with this process.

My wife and I come down and stay in this cabin every year for quit a while now . The improvements were outstanding !!!! We can't wait to come back . The only suggestion I would make is a detailed list at every T.V. explaining how the remotes work and how to switch them from TV to DVD and back again . We had to have a maintenance person come out and try the remotes . He couldn't even get them to function properly . Some of us old folks need some help with these things . Take care of that and there would be absolutely nothing negative about the Almost Heaven experience . Thanks guys !!
