Cabins USA makes check-in and check-out extremely easy. They have express check-in, which means you don't even have to go to their office. The day before your visit they send you an email with all of the information you need, including detailed directions and the keycode to the door. The day of your visit the keycode starts to work at check-in time and you can just go straight to the cabin. Check-out is just as easy.
They again send an email with instructions and the morning of check-out you receive one more email with a link to click on to show that you have left and then you are all done. It is very convenient and the main reason we have used Cabins USA 4 or 5 times now. This cabin was the perfect size for the 18 people that we had in our group. The fact that there was a bathroom for each bedroom, plus a half bath on the main level was wonderful. It was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We enjoyed the amenities, like the hot tub, pool table and arcade game. The cabin is within just a mile or so from the main drive in Pigeon Forge, so the location was extremely convenient to entertainment, stores and restaurants. The air conditioning was great on the first day we arrived because it was cool and rainy outside. The rest of our visit it wasn't so great. The weather outside warmed up to the low 80's and the air could not keep up inside, except for the 2 bedrooms and bathrooms on the top floor, where it stayed very cold. It stayed around 79 inside the rest of the cabin during the day. The reason for this is the huge windows in the house that let in all of the afternoon sun. They make it beautiful to see outside but make it very warm inside. It was hard to even sit on the couch in the living room because the leather got too warm to sit on. We would definitely stay here again but would make sure it was going to be in the cooler months instead of days when it is going to be even a little warm outside. All in all, we enjoyed our visit here very much and look forward to staying again.

We had a great time at the Alexander The Great cabin. Only complaint is there were only 3 small skillets to cook with. Other than that, we really enjoyed it and would definitely stay there again!! Cabinsusa was great to work with!! Thanks for helping make our vacation great!

This is the second year in a row that we have booked this cabin, and it has a really good location (approximately 5 minutes from the Island in Pigeon Forge). Compared to last year, we did find some new issues that need to be addressed. First off, there are electric fireplaces in the two upstairs bedrooms. If you run those heaters at the same time in both bedrooms upstairs, it will trip the breaker. We called maintenance and they were easy to get ahold of and they were headed our way within 5 minutes (this was after midnight). We were able to find the breaker box (located outside), and we were able to cancel the maintenance request once we found the issue ourselves. But, I believe that this should not be an issue. Also, the stove in the kitchen had some intermittent issues and would occasionally shut off, and it also struggled to get up to temperature sometimes. I feel that this cabin does need some updating in the near future, and I hope that it will get these issues resolved so that we can book it again next year for our yearly church trip to Pigeon Forge.

This was our second time staying at Alexander the Great cabin. It was very spacious and very convenient to all attractions and dining places. We enjoyed the horseshoe pitching pits.

The First day was a little rough. Lost electricity for the entire top floor but after making a call the tech came out in 45 minutes. Fixed it immediately. The main hallway half bath toilet got stopped up first use but I was easy to fix. One of the large kitchen tables legs fell off but my son pulled out his tools and fixed it. I loved the layout of the cabin and how everything was so well placed. My concern was that there was not enough space to put trash bags for cabin of that size. We had a wonderful time and of course a family trip is what you make of it. I would do it again but maybe with adults only. LOL! I thank you for making this trip enjoyable and Happy Holidays to you all!

The cabin was nice. The location was quiet. It was clean & the beds were comfortable. The parking was a little tricky, We had 8 cars, only 6 cars fit in the parking space, but we managed to squeeze in the other 2. We just had to move cars every time someone wanted to leave. I was disappointed because in the photo on-line it shows a Mountain View in the background, it's not. It's surrounded by trees. The fire pit area was great. Our family enjoyed cooking hot dogs over the fire & making s'mores.
The refrigerator was small for 22 people. When we arrived & started unloading our groceries, we noticed it wasn't cooling properly. I called maintenance & they came up to look at it. By the next morning it was cooling properly. We had a few tvs that didn't work, unfortunately one tv in the bedroom on the bottom floor, they never could get it fixed. So that room had no tv the whole week. We had an issue with the dryer. The dryer ended up having to be replaced & the wiring in the outlet to the dryer had to be replaced as well. The new dryer didn't get installed til Friday & we were leaving on that Sunday. That was a huge inconvenience as we chose a cabin over a hotel because of the washer & dryer. Management did give me a little money for the laundromat, which was nice, but unfortunately didn't show up in my account til after I was headed home. It was just a huge inconvenience since we didn't plan on spending part of our vacation at a laundromat. Some of our guest ended up having to buy new clothes that they weren't expecting to buy because they didn't want to waste time at the laundromat. After all we were on vacation & wanted to enjoy the sites of Tennessee. I know this could happen at any time & we made the best of an inconvenient situation. We had several lights that were blinking, maintenance replaced the bulbs & it corrected the problem. We had a sink that ran a steady stream of water in one of the bedroom bathrooms downstairs, but the maintenance man said the whole thing needed replacing so we dealt with it for the week. It's little things I felt like should have been done before we arrived that wasn't. This was my second time renting through Cabins USA. The first year our cabin "Crosswinds" had some minor issues as well, but was quickly resolved unlike this year. However; This year I did love the cabin itself & it had everything I was looking for. I love that all our guests had their own bathroom which is something most don't have. Plus a half bath in the living room area was an adding bonus. I wish the bunk bed room downstairs offered a king size or queen bed like the others did instead of 2 sets of triplet bunks. We had 7 couples in our group, which meant one couple ended up with the bunk bed room. Overall we enjoyed our stay. So far it's my favorite cabin, even with the inconveniences.

We had difficulties getting some of the TVs to work, there were multiple remotes without batteries. The pool address should also be posted, there is a separate pool for the Eagles Ridge resort close by that we mistook for the pool that's available for this cabin.

Overall we were very happy with our stay, it's a great location and plenty of room for a family trip.

We loved the cabin and location. It would've been nice to have a swing on the main floor porch for handicap visitors. Also, there was only 4 forks in the cabin.

Alexander the Great cabin was spacious, welcoming and we enjoyed our stay. We had 13 people (2 teenagers, 1 toddler and 10 adults). Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy themselves. Plenty of seating in & around the cabin. Overall the cabin met our needs very well and we were comfortable. The customer service of Cabins USA was always very kind & helpful.

I would recommend adding more cookware, cutlery and basics such as mixing bowls, cooking sheets, etc. to prepare food. Another refrigerator downstairs would be useful. Cooking for the group was definitely a challenge with the limited kitchen items.

Also, note, guests of this cabin CANNOT use the pool located on Kings Hills Blvd. You will be thrown out. The correct pool is located at 564 Country Oaks Blvd.

Nice cabin in a good location. It was perfect for our group of 11, everyone had their own room and bathroom. We only had two complaints...1) about half of the tvs wouldn't work. This was not a deal breaker but most like to watch TV in their rooms before the others or up or at night when everyone else is asleep. 2) our hot tub wouldn't heat up past 85°. Maintenance came to look at it and said he couldn't fix it would send someone out the next morning, we never saw anyone else the rest of the weekend. Other than that it was fine. We enjoyed the firepit every evening..

Our stay was awesome! This cabin is definitely one that I will request in the future to come back to. Locationally it's right where we needed to be. It's cozy, not too noisy, offers a great view and privacy when you need it! Multiple entrances for security purposes was also a major bonus for me. Just a few pointers to enhance the experience of your future guests; 1) have the cleaning service to sweep for cob-webs through the interior of the cabin (especially the bedrooms), 2) make sure the TV's are set to correct HMDI input and that the language is set to "English", ensure that there are fresh batteries in all TV remote controls, 3) remove all broken chairs and inoperable chairs throughout the cabin.

The cabin was a good option for our family. Enjoy red having a bedroom and bathroom for everyone. Plenty of room for us all. Enjoyed the fire pit and time spent. Know there is wear and tear, but this worked out well for us.
Only real issues were many outlets did not work, especially in the main floor bedroom and bathrooms. Couldn't use the hot tub ( frozen up, temps below freezing week before we came and our first two days).

The cabin was nice but the carpet is really dirty. It would be nice if they would tear the carpet out & just have the flooring down. The mattress' are ok.... not the most comfortable but livable. The location is great but the directions from Cabin USA could use some work. We were told not to use the GPS directions and to use the paper directions. Well they had missing street signs so we got lost. But if we had listened to the GPS we would have gone straight to it.Love the loft area in the cabin. There was plenty of room for all of us. The flooring under the frig obviously had been messed up so they put a piece of wood over it. The wood stuck out from under the frig and we had several people stub their toe on the wood. I would suggest fixing that soon. We've been looking for a cabin to go back to each year and I think we have found it. We have already booked for 2024.

We loved our stay at "Alexander the Great" with our family of 18 because it got us together in a space large enough for some individual privacy and for some large gatherings for meals and games. However, the building is showing some definite signs of hard use and very little upkeep to keep it in pristine condition. Windows, window sills, baseboards, picture frames, and other ornaments needed deep cleaning as in dusting and washing. A drawer in the kitchen is completely missing--just a hole where the draw was--and another drawer in a bedroom was missing a bottom. Every closet is stuffed with miscellaneous items from furnace filters to boxes that could be empty or could contain the items pictured on them (we didn't check). That said, we did enjoy being there because we love our family and this gave us the opportunity to gather from three different states in order to be together. All the appliances were in working order so there is no complaint there except for the fireplace which needed to be frequently "reset" as in some kind of electrical problem. The beds were comfortable (to all be two of us) and the sheets and towels were clean. I would definitely encourage new visitors to bring their own soaps, shampoo, trash bags, and kitchen towels. (Only one towel and dish cloth were provided for our four-day stay). I would definitely say the cabin is a great place to gather a large group. Just be aware that it is not a five-star accommodation.

Over all stay was good.. Will return. Needs to replace some blinds and needs a broom.. Enjoyed my stay

Overall, the cabin was nice. Nice newly felted pool table, good park benches outside in the covered porch for us to grill most nights, and room for a large party to spread out. The location was ideal as well if you are visitin Pigeon Forge, as it is less than a mile from the middle of the strip, making it very easy to drive to any of Forge's attractions!!

Unfortunately, the cabin does show some signs of wear, the video game in the basement does not really work. The screen fades out often and a lot of the games do not even work. The fire pit and horse shoe pits can use some TLC, as both were filled with run off dirt. All the mattresses could use an upgrade as well as they felt like they were at the end of their life span.

I would suggest that the garbage area gets some kind of locking gate/container, similar to all the other cabins in the area. We had issues with bears that last 3 nights getting into the garbage and making a mess for us all to clean up each morning or night after chasing them away.

It was a Jones and Dunemn reunion, which had a total of 10 adults and 4 children stay at "Alexander The Great" late March of 2022. We all loved the place, it was perfect for all of us. The location was perfect, just minutes away from the Island & strip in Pigeon Forge. One of the best features, was that all of the rooms had their own personal bathroom, so you didn't have to take or remove all your stuff every-time you showered, just wonderful! The children loved the fact that their bunk room was big enough for all of them to sleep together. The outdoor patio / grill area was covered along with many benches for eating outside if needed. There was also a small fire-pit on the other end of the property, to enjoy roasting marshmallows or telling scary stories while the fire pit was burning. There is plenty of parking for multiple cars outside, we had 4, but 6 would have fit also. Yes we all enjoyed the cabin just about as much as possible. Now for some cons: Out of the 7 rooms, only 3 of the TV's worked, and yes we are all pretty tech-savy, but the dish genie boxes were corrupted, and wiring hanging out everywhere, big mess. The game room consisted of a pool table and a game console that played games like donkey-kong and pacman, unfortunately the pool table was ripped(it was like that when we arrived) and the video game console, when it worked, the screen was half shorted out and the part you could see was white washed, just awful. Last, the small walk down to the firepit at night, there are no lights to illuminate the area, and my wife tripped on a stump and fell because it was in a shadow, so beware and bring some light. The positives outweighed the cons 3 to 1, so just wanted the next person to know and not be shocked. You will like this cabin, it is really nice. John & Tina Jones, Pensacola, Fl.

The Alexander the Great was absolutely beautiful. Everything in the house and kitchen was furnished. We didn't want for anything.
Normally we stay in Gatlinburg. This was our first time staying in Pigeon Forge, but it want be our last.
We had 13 adults and 6 children under the age of 5 and everyone loved the house and location.
Can't wait to use USA Cabins again.

My family and I love our family time away and this year the cabin Alexander the Great was our getaway go to place.
Alexander the Great met our expectations and room to spare.

While this is an older property with minimal structural concerns (a few broken blinds, older but comfortable furniture, small difficulty with remotes) it is a wonderful place to stay. The person who I spoke with to reserve our rental (took a few minutes on hold to get to her) could not have been more helpful and understanding. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. This cabin is in a great location (hardly 2 miles from the Parkway). It is literally huge with 7 bedrooms each with their own bathroom. It has wonderful outdoor spaces and parking is great. Our annual 'girls trip'' will be back to this same cabin again.. we love it! ??

Omg You Guys Rock????Had a problem with 1 of the TV's but maintenance came out and took care of it! Yes we will be back in the summer months????

The kitchen got an issue with the zinc

We stayed here with our wedding party and friends. I was very happy to see it wasn't located in a cabin community with a row of cabins. There are a couple cabins off the same driveway but it felt cozy and we didn't feel crowded. This is a huge cabin and we didn't use all the space, we played pool, used the hot tub, retro video game and outdoor fire pit. The cabin is a bit dated (green carpet and furnishings) but not so much so that a big group couldn't enjoy the view and huge floor plan. We felt the cabin was very clean and maintained and other than a missing pool table rack, everything worked and was available. I definitely would recommend this cabin for other guests and would stay there again with my family and friends

We rented Alexander the Great for 4 nights. We had 21 people which included nine kids under 18. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived on Wednesday night. The rooms were good, the bunk room has a 2nd bunk that wasn't listed so that was a pleasant surprise. They also had air mattresses which was awesome because we forgot ours. The kids made great use of the lower level with the pool table and jacuzzi. The only issues were that the beds are not that comfortable and they squeak a lot and the cabin temp was hard to regulate.

We had an incident on Thursday night that had nothing to do with Cabins USA but I had called and left a message and posted on FB. The next morning a supervisor contacted me to see if everything was ok. He was apologetic and made sure I had contact numbers incase we had any more issues.

Overall our family had an amazing time. We'll book with them again!

Let me start by saying the staff I spoke with every time I called were always exceptionally kind and helpful. For those staying at this property in the future, here are a few bits of information that you may find helpful:

The property itself is very roomy. We had 15 of us and never felt cramped or like we didn't have enough room throughout the house. The furniture throughout the house is very dated, especially the chairs in the living room and bottom floor family room - one of the chairs in the living room is very noticeably broken. The kitchen was stocked decently with dishes, cups, glasses, etc., but you may want to bring some cookie sheets or cake pans if you plan to cook anything that would require those. The oven window was pretty dirty and was the first thing I noticed when we settled in, which was sort of gross. We began to cook dinner one night and realized midway through that TWO of the burners on the stovetop did not work (one of them does not even have a dial and the other one does not turn at all), so that was a huge disadvantage when trying to make dinner for a large crowd. There are two Mr. Coffee coffeemakers in the home, just FYI there. There is no critter guards or covers for the trash bins so we woke up to a lot of trash thrown about so we made our own barricade and didn't have an issue after that. Outdoor furniture is adequate - nothing fancy - and all the beds are about the same. Bedding is dated but comfortable enough and there was extra bedding provided for pull-outs. Basic starting soaps, etc., were there to begin your trip.

The pool is not too far away but downhill so you do need to drive to it most likely. There are no pool towels in the house or at the pool, so bring your own. The grills are dated and charcoal only but useable. We never got to enjoy the fire pits because the mosquitoes were SO bad. Be sure you have bug repellant!

We had a nice time on our trip overall - the location was close to all attractions in Pigeon Forge and was tucked away in a nice neighborhood setting.

This cabin was everything the description said it was! Beautiful views... Comfortable rooms... And it was fully loaded with everything you would have in your own home. We enjoyed every minute we spent there! The only thing that i could possibly think of to complain about would be the dead bugs found behind the bed and the cable arrangement. The tvs in the Top King rooms could be larger as well, but other than that it was well worth the price and trip!***We will be back with more people and looking to enjoy a larger cabin!

Alexander the Great is very nice cabin located close to the main strip. My family and I really enjoyed it we will definitely book with Cabins USA again.

My family and I really enjoyed ourselves In one of your cabin. We booked Alexander The Great. We had a couple of down fall. The tv wasn’t working in several of the rooms and the floor was not mopped in the kitchen when we checked in that day it was very sticky and slippery. We was there for 5 days and they never came and got the garbage. We had to take the garbage back in at night so the raccoon wouldn’t get in the trash we call the front desk and left a message but they never called back or send them out to pick the trash up but other then that our stay there was great.

Our family of 22 enjoyed our stay at Alexander the Great. We had a bedding issue which caused a problem our first night. We were issued blow up mattresses the next day to compensate for the lack of a bed in the bunk room and a mattress on one of the pull out beds. I read reviews from previous tenants stating there was a bed short in the bunk room, I called and was told it had been replaced. It had not.
May I suggest better garbage containers with locking lids. We had skunks and raccoons every night on our porch. We were in the cabin 4 nights and never had our garbage picked up. After opening Christmas packages for 22 folk...that was a lot of garbage

The cabin was very spacious overall. The beds needed to be replaced, they’re well worn. Also, the pictures are not exactly the way it is. The cabin sits on a verrrrryyy small lot right on top of other cabins. No mountain view and outside is all down hill, on a slope.

Enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Plenty of room. Great location. Only issue was comfort of beds, other than that, we highly recommend. Would stay here again.

Need to update all the mattresses and comforter sets and get updated porch furniture along with a good pressure wash of the porch. But very good layout.

We rented the Alexander the Great cabin for 10 people, 6 of whom were high school classmates, all of us celebrating our 70th birthdays. We were all very pleased with the cabin. It was clean, comfortable, very nicely decorated and easy to find. We had plenty of room to park 4 cars. There was lots of room for all to sit comfortably around the kitchen table to enjoy meals and card games. The bedrooms were comfortable and each having it's own bathroom was a definite plus. We were close enough to Pigeon Forge to be able to enjoy all the amenities available there. Each of us had a wonderful 3 days there and are looking forward to coming back someday.

Cabin was very nice and roomy.Bed mattresses were very uncomfortable;the refrigerator was not working properly and was missing door shelving which gave limited space.Also, the refrigerator should be comparable to the amount the cabin sleeps.There were also cobwebs. I would like to rent the cabin next year , but I would have to check if these issues were addressed.

We had 16 people stay at Alexander the Great for a baseball tournament. We were a little unsure of just how big the place would be and if there would really be enough room for all of us. We were pleasantly surprised at how large the cabin really was! Everyone had ample space and it was very clean. The only issue we had was in the bunk bed room in the basement, the bunk beds were not there- instead were 3 twin beds. We noticed this beforehand and were told it was because the owner was having new ones made. We were able to compensate with one of the pull out sofas. We were also a bit concerned that the A/C would give us an issue with a cabin as large as this, but it worked wonderfully and we had no issues at all. There was even plenty of hot water for all! We had an issue a few days in with the jets in the hot tub not working. A quick call to maintenance and they came out the same day to take a look. The wires had gotten wet and simply needed to dry out. Otherwise, no issues. We will definitely be back!

Our family & friends group of 15 had a wonderful time at the Alexander the Great cabin. The location was great. A five mins drive from all the action in Pigeon Forge. The open combination kitchen, dining room, and family room was perfect. All fifteen of us were able to comfortably sit and eat together in the dining area. The two grills in the covered picnic area made it easy BBQ for our large group. Having a bathroom connected to every bedroom ensured there was plenty of space and privacy to shower & get dressed, and no one was waiting in line for the bathroom.
Complaints:
Sofas in the loft & on the ground level are dated and probably should be replaced.
The mattresses also need to be replaced. Any real movement caused an irritating level of noise.
It got cooler late at night so we turned on the fireplaces in two bedrooms on the top floor I then turned on the bathroom light which tripped a breaker and took out all the power on the floor. However, the maintenance guy that I spoke to around midnight was extremely nice and helped guide my husband to the electrical box located outside the cabin.
The video arcade was extremely old and worn (missing a button). Couldn't really be played. It should just be removed.
Knob was missing from the stove (we found it sitting on the counter). My husband had some tools handy and was able to fix it so we were able to use all burners (no big deal).

Perfect for adults all staying in one home with the needs for privacy. The home could use some serious updates, but has everything you could generally need for a half a dozen couples. Short comings of the cabin are: some beds need replaced, needs more blankets, and the refrigerator is too small.

Cabin could use a few improvements better mattresses for the beds. The bees that drill in the wood,Should be addressed and be sawdust that's left behind should be cleaned on a regular rental basis. The trash containers outside need to be in a locked and enclosed barrier to keep the bears away. A 7 bedroom unit needs to have a larger refrigerator. The location was good the area was nice quiet clean over all it was a really Enjoyable trip.

Our stay was wonderful and we had an enjoyable time; however, we had a few concerns. Blinds over the windows in the living area would provide privacy and would block the sun at certain times of the day. Two bars of soap in each of the bathrooms and extra dish towels in the kitchen would have been helpful. We could not find any potholders and one of the toilet seats was broken. Also, there was an issue with the fire alarms and carbon dioxide detectors which needed batteries to stop the chirping. And, we could not get the TV in the living room to turn on. The photos of the cabin showed bunk beds but what we found were twin beds, which worked out ok but made us one bed short, so one of our ladies had to use a sleeper sofa. I would still recommend this cabin for its location, its spaciousness and its amenities. The issues we had were minor and could easily be remedied by the owners of the cabin.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! We had a lot of family join us for a spectacular weekend. We loved the ease of check in & check out. This cabin is all we hoped it would be & more!!!

Awesome weekend with our youth group

All of the TVS were mounted, which made plugging in a DVD player or other hdmi devices nearly impossible. The remotes on the main level did not work so we had to use the manual controls-otherwise going and buying batteries.
Other than that-our stay was amazing. The cabin was much larger than I expected and everyone enjoyed everything it had to offer. Will definitely be booking again for our next trip.

Easy to get to, central location. Pull out beds need replaced, mattresses are thin and springy. If at full capacity, there isn't enough seating... overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend, but not for 22 people (15-18 would be comfortable)

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. We were in the area for my son's wedding. Having all the bathrooms that we did definitely made it easier while we were trying to get ready.

There were just a few things that we thought could be improved.
1.) There needs to be more kitchen towels for drying dishes, hands, etc.. We had 1 and it was more like a pastry cloth.

2.) There needs to be 2nd refrigerator. For a cabin of that size, with capacity of sleeping up to 22, Most people, when staying in a cabin, will grocery shop and cook at the cabin to save money. We had to buy coolers due to not being able to fit everything in the refrigerator. There is plenty of room in the entry hall or someplace downstairs for one.

3.) The mattresses could stand to be upgraded.

I would definitely recommend people to this cabin, if they have a large group and for convenience to the parkway.

The cabin was perfect size for our family. The only thing I seen is the carpet is pretty worn out needs to be replaced. Will definitely stay with cabins Usa again.

We had a couple of issues - ceiling fan caught fire and burned up the motor in one of the main floor bedrooms but luckily we were there and smelled it burning. I called and a maintenance guy came and checked it out to make sure it would be okay during the night as this was our last night there. One of the bathroom drains on the lower floor bedroom would not drain very well. The chairs in the dining room are too small so we had to move all of them and luckily there were folding chairs in one of the closets to use. We also believe it would be nice if the large window by the dining room had blinds because during the day, the sun was very bright shining in. However, we were thankful the sun was shining. Other than those minor things, this cabin is wonderful! The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. We stayed there last year and will more than likely book it or another cabin from you for next October. We had a wonderful, relaxing trip as we stayed in the cabin 99% of the time just relaxing and enjoying it. Thank you for making our vacation great!

Trash pick up would be nice every other day. Would recommend cleaning windows at the rear of cabin. A second refrigerator would be great.

Our party of 15 stayed at Alexander The Great 2/8-2/11. The cabin size was more than adequate for our party. The rooms were just as seen in the photos. The location was not bad and the cabin was not too high up (we had some people who are not too fond of heights in our group) but far enough from the main strip so no car noise. We were close to everything and that made it really convenient. Now, with that said, there were a few things that could be better. The furniture in the living room needs to be replace ASAP! Both the couch and the loveseat are very badly stained and so worn that you could feel the sofa bed in the couch. I really didn't even want to sit on it, that's how bad it was stained. The carpet could be replaced also. There were a few minor things such as one of the bathroom windows in a room on the 2nd floor didn't lock but it was kind of high up so I don't think anyone could have gotten in without a ladder. The power went out on the top floor. The power box was outside kind of high up but we found it and got the lights back on. We called the after hours # for help and they did respond but we had already fixed it. They did come out the next day though to make sure things were okay and to fix another issue we had with some of the TV's in one of the 2nd floor rooms. There is not enough kitchen ware though in the way of pots and pans that are suitable for use. some of the skillets were pretty scratched up so we were kind of hesitant to use them but other than that, the kitchen was very nice. Having 2 coffee pots was wonderful for our caffeine and decaf users. The only other thing would be when you turn the jets on in the Jacuzzi tubs in the 3rd floor rooms, little specks of black gunk started swirling in the water. Not very appealing when trying to take a relaxing soak. And lastly, with such a huge pavilion, a bigger charcoal or gas grill would be ideal. We had a hard time using the 2 small grills there. Overall, our trip was very nice and we would most definitely book with Cabins USA again and we would also stay in the same cabin (even though we could have sworn we heard a bear after we grilled...LOL). I just hope the owner takes the suggestions for the fixes into consideration. If so, this cabin would be even better!

Overall, we had a very satisfying experience. The location and # of bathrooms is very important to our size group,so that makes up for a lot. I mention a few negatives below to be honest, but they don’t keep us from coming back. The furniture really could use an update. The main room sleeper sofa sags uncomfortably, and some of the other chairs are the same. The fridge must leak because the floor around it shows signs of water damage. The front door latch catches and hangs even with the door unlocked so that I was never sure if we’d even be able to get back in the cabin when returning. (We did get in.) Bathrooms are all clean and nice. Downstairs beds reported as queens can’t be more than full. Hot tub is good, Pavilion is nice. Kitchen works very well for us. Dining table area is really tight. Most importantly, we have come back 3 years in a row.

My family and I were very pleased with our stay in the Alexander the Great cabin. It was equipped with all that we needed except food, obviously. The size and location of the cabin was perfect. Literally up the road and around the corner from all of the shopping that we needed (groceries, outlet, and Wal-Mart). There was so much for the family to go out and enjoy along the "strip". The whole family truly enjoyed spending the holidays there. It was even decorated for the holidays, which the kiddos loved! The check in and out process was a breeze. The only complaint that I have is that during our stay the electricity on the 3rd floor went out 3 times! Also, the heat did not circulate well down to the 1st level. The 2nd floor was nice and toasty, borderline hot, while those on the 1st and 3rd floors were freezing! Not sure how that works but it was a bit uncomfortable during bedtime. The electric fireplace on the 1st level didn't work well and the 2 electric fireplaces on the 3rd floor seemed to keep tripping the breakers. However, I must say that the staff was so nice and handled the issue of the outage very quickly. Cabins USA is a great company to use for rentals and I look forward to booking with them again!

The only complaint about the cabin would be some of the locks on the doors upstairs area did not lock properly. This was not an issue for our group, but it could be for the future since one of the bathrooms also has second access from the loft area. Other than that, the cabin met our needs!

The cabin was wonderful. Plenty of bedspace!! However, the couches need to be replaced in the living room. The cushions eventually sink into the sleeper while you are sitting on them. The kitchen was wonderful - plenty of seating around the table!

Also, some of the mattresses need to be replaced - could feel the springs in some of them.

The only issue we really had was that the tub on the top floor did not drain well, and the hot tub took a while to warm up (they did not get to use it the first night because it was only 90 degrees). Some of the beds werent really comfortable, but overall we enjoyed the cabin very much. There may need to be a light down by the grill because it got dark early, and we couldnt see what we were doing. Thanks!

Our group goes to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg every year. This cabin was by far THE BEST one we've had yet. I hope to be able to book it again next year if our group doesn't grow. It was stocked, so clean and well kept. The living room furniture needed updated but other than that, we were extremely pleased. Check In and Check Out were so easy we didn't even have to go to the office and wait in line. It was such a wonderful and relaxing experience - our best one yet! Thank you Cabins USA !!!

This was the best cabin we had stayed in. We had 16 people in all. The layout of the cabin was great. We just wish there was more setting in the living room where everyone could set around and talk. The bedrooms was all a great size. The beds was not at all comfortable. But over we loved the cabin and would book it again.

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin. There was plenty of room for our large family. On the negative side, the couch on the main floor was badly stained, it was soaking wet where someone before us sat on it . It was also like sitting on a board, very uncomfortable. The tv's were all messed up, and some didn't work at all. Not enough pots and pans to cook with. The online pictures were very deceiving, the outdoor space where the fire pit is, was not leval at all like the pics show. Dirty windows. This cabin needs some TLC

While there was miscommunication at the beginning, and we had to stay in a motel the first night, which was refunded, the only other downer was the bathroom doors were not wide enough for my dads wheel chair to fit through, it's standard size, and the shower curtains were stained with pink mold. We enjoyed our stay. And would rent again because it's the only cabin big enough with wheel chair access.

Alexander the Great exceeded our expectations. We had 14 people ( 5 under 5) and it was perfect. We all had our own space and greatly enjoyed the dining room to hang out in as well as the outdoor fire pit! Extremely clean and everything was in working order. Super close to the main road in Pigeon Forge while giving you a cabin retreat! Note - if cooking a big meal for all staying, the pots and pans don't accommodate large quantities really well.
But overall, an amazing time in Pigeon Forge! Thanks for making the process of booking, checking in, and checking out beyond simple!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! It is very spacious and has lots to do. I would definitely recommend it!

We did have a wonderful experience overall in this cabin. However, I do have one complaint. Seeing as this cabin will accommodate 22 people, the cooking utensils were not conducive for even the 13 people we had in our party. The pan sizes and quality of them were very much lacking.

This was our first time to stay at Alexander the great. We found it to be a comfortable stay. Ole Alexander is getting a little old though. It's about time for a facelift. Our air condition on the top floor was out when we arrived. The staff was quick to respond and get that repaired for us. We would definitely stay again.

We couldn't sit outside because the Bees was really bad. It would have helped if the porch was screened in. Overall the cabin was awesome and plan to stay there again next year.

We love the location, the price, the size,but only 3 TVs worked out of 8. Some of the mattresses need to be replaced.
We did have a good time. The hot tub was great.

Alexander the great was a wonderful and spacious home to stay in, lots of room and beautiful surroundings. Easy access to reach with any type of automobile. Living room furniture was worn pretty bad but everything else was awesome. Would rent again at any time we could go. It snowed 6 inches while we were there and our 4 great grandchildren had a wonderful time playing in snow, so beautiful. Thanks for sharing home with us.

upon arrival at the cabin, i wanted to make coffee since we had been traveling for 10+ hours. we found two coffee makers and one espresso machine but there were no coffee filters. not sure if this was an oversight since we have stayed in several cabins and always had coffee filters. we searched the upper cabinets and when i opened one of the lower doors the screw (singular) in the top hinge fell out. i took a picture right away to show this was how we found it. we slept in the "golf" bed room upstairs and found the bed hard but not worth making a big deal about. overall the cabin was as advertised...........i am a regular contributor to Tripadvisor and will leave positive reviews for this cabin. mark hall

Express check in did not work for me even though I completed all paperwork required ten days prior to reservations. We still had to go to the office for directions & security code. This was an inconvenience because different family members came in from different locations and times. Also, the staff member I dealt with was not very friendly. I think she wasn't having a very good day.
The furniture wasn't the best, and one of the tvs in a bedroom on the lower level didn't work (just a snowy picture). However, our stay was nice and the cabin was sufficient for our needs.

Our group consisted some from Louisiana, Tennessee and England; everyone was amazed and in awe of the cabin's décor and location. It was off the beaten path, private and peaceful which we all wanted and enjoyed. It's location to all of the sights and attractions of the area was a bonus. Traveling to and from the shows, etc. was very easy. The Express check-in system worked great and was appreciated. We will be reserving with CabinsUSA again. Everyone is thankful. Isaac

Our over all stay was a good one. The televisions in some of the rooms did not work. We had a the maintenance guy come by, but he could not get all the televisions to work. The ice maker in the fridge did not make ice enough to accommodate the number of people staying in the house. There was plenty of towels and the hot tubs were great. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Proud that they let us checking into our cabin earlier that 4. With all of us waiting to get in ,coming from 7 different states. It met all of our needs but there were not enough forks for 12 people, had to find plastic forks for 2 of our group. Easy to get to and enjoyed the stay very much. Would recommend you for large groups to get together. Your name is put on our list to rent, we have rented 5 cabins in that area and enjoyed everyone.

We had a great time staying in the Alexander the Great cabin. We booked this cabin because one of our family members is in a wheelchair. The ramp out front gave him easy access to the cabin. One thing to keep in mind though, if you need an accessible cabin is that while the main floor is accessible, there isn't really any way to get to the other floors. Additionally, none of the bathrooms are ADA compliant. Overall we had a great time. We fit everyone from our cabin as well as the rest of our family from another cabin (27 in total) on the back patio for a barbecue.

Our Sunday School youth group stayed from August 1-3. We had kids ages 4-18. There was enough room to accommodate everyone. The kids loved the hot tub and there was also a pool on the resort area. The bedrooms were roomy and the 3rd floor was perfect for our teenage boys equipped a pool table and a arcade game. I have already talked with my family members about making this our vacation spot for 2017.

Great location. Lots of parking space. Older model TV's that didn't work in three bedrooms. Being that our stay was during a holiday weekend, response to some issues were slow. However, because of location and outside space, we would stay again.

This cabin was the perfect place for our multi-family vacation! Plenty of space for privacy! I was amazed at how clean and well maintained the cabin was! We will definitely be returning. Thank you for providing the perfect place for our amazing vacation!

We had a group of 15 who spent 5 nights. Everyone enjoyed there stay. We had a couple issues (one being a dead battery in a fire alarm) when we arrived and called maintenance who said they would be out to fix it that evening but they did not show up until a second call to them the next day. There are some upkeep issues that need to be fixed but over all it is a really nice place to stay. Check in and check out where great, very nice staff.

There was a leak in the bathroom ceiling on the main floor. The light in the wash room didn't work half the time. The tvs were hard to work. The view wasn't really good because of the trees in the way. The couch downstairs was ripped. The fireplace in the living room was not functioning properly. We were really looking forward to having a pool but this property was a great replacement

It was a good cabin and the value was great. It was a great weekend and went off without any problems. The cabin have ample dish and cook wear. We ran the coffee makers on overtime. Thanks to the people at cabins USA making it a enjoyable experience. I will diffently use again.

This was a reunion of 3 couples and one gentleman. All these gentlemen were south east Asia vets of the viet nam war. who had not seen each other in 43 years, with them were also their wives. Didn't really know how all of us were gonna react or what to expect in 1 place.
The reunion was spectacular to say the least......Alexander the Great was awesome and fantastic for this memorable occasion. We all were absolutely taken over by its Beauty,location, and the inviting appeal we got from it. This cabin helped make it the best vacation that Pam and I have ever taken. The other couples were totally satisfied with their stay as well, and all of us are going to try to return in 2 years to do this adventure again. Same time same place if possible. Thank you Cabins USA for providing us with this spotless grand cabin for our comfort coziness and joy.

The cabin was adequate for our large family. We have already planned to rent it again next year. The outside was great for the younger ones and we plan to use the picnic/grill area next time. Even though the living room was small, there was plenty of seating. The large table made it possible for us to all sit together. Only one fault--it was hard to find. The directions need to be a little clearer.

Great place for a large group. The main floor was open and conducive for gathering of the group. Several kitchen chairs needed repair as they were unstable The lower level bed rooms were difficult to heat otherwise it was a great place well decorated plenty of room and I would recommend staying there.

Had a awesome time at this cabin. Was my first time staying in a cabin. Went with a group of 6 couples for a marriage getaway for Valentine's day weekend. Stayed 3 days. This place was CLEAN i can tell they take great care of it. Spacious and in a great location. Attractions are 10 minutes away from the cabin. I would recommend staying at this place!. Staff wqs friendly we called about are tv and they came and fixed it with no problems. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. And really enjoyed the set up of this facility.

The cabin smelled like cigarette smoke, even the towles. On Saturday at 4;00 PM the Dish network tech. came and worked inside the house till 8:00PM or so, no warning from anyone. Therefore cooking out and having a family diner was out for the evening so we had to go out and eat after buying the food to cook out. This was our family Christmas gathering and we do this each year at the same time and in Pigeon Forge for the last 10 years. Left message about this and knowone has called me back. Wonderful place to stay, the lady whom checked me in was great and the feel as you went in the office they knew what they were doing and under great leadership & management. The only problem was the smoke smell and the waste of a Saturaday.

we were told when we checked in the t.v.'s would be fixed the next day - they were never fixed - we called the office each day but it did not do any good what soever - other than that - everthing was great

Everything from the initial reservation inquiry, to booking, to check-in, to the actual property, to check out was AWESOME!
My family are frequent travelers to the Smoky Mountain area, and have for many years, stayed in a lot of properties with various rental companies. None have compared to the ease, professionalism and quality that we found with Cabins USA. The actual cabin "Alexander the Great" was also wonderful. Everything was as shown in the listing or better. My husband and I took our elderly parents and an aunt and uncle on this trip to Pigeon Forge. The access ramp to the main level along with the 2 master suites on the main floor living area were perfect for them. They never had to negotiate any stairs and the parking area was nice a level for easy in and out. Speaking of parking, there was plenty of parking, so much so that we had no problem with our 30' camper van parking right at the front door. The kitchen had plenty of everything for a large group - it even had 2 coffee pots! We never ran out of hot water, even when everyone was getting ready at the same time to attend a wedding. The great room area with the large dining table was plenty large enough for our group and we spent a lot of quality time there making special family memories - eating, visiting, playing and singing music, playing cards, story telling, joke telling and well just enjoying hanging out with each other in such a lovely environment.

There were only a couple of minor issues that could use attention, the first being that the downstairs bedroom TV's don't seem to have cable hooked up to them and they are very dated. The second is that the coffee pots were neither one Auto-OFF, which was not noticed until we had a burnt coffee pot and the toaster doesn't work properly, we had to hold the handle down to toast. Small things but cheap fixes for the owner. These in no way made our stay any less than fantastic.

Everything was clean, comfortable and just perfect for us - we will be back!

We had a really nice time with family. The house was very nice and spacious, clean, and well kept. Plenty of room to spread out. A porch with plenty of rocking chairs. Close to all the action in Pigeon Forge. Cabin is in a residential area so the only thing missing was the view. I would recommend this property.

From start to finish, it was a great time!!! The stuff are very friendly and the cabin was in great shape!! Half the jets on the hot tub are out currently, but other than that the place was perfect! Will be coming back for sure!!

We booked this house for a family reunion. For the most part the place worked perfectly. The layout was great for a large group including the outdoor patio, large kitchen table and multiple family areas. It was nice for everyone to have a room with a separate bath. There was plenty of dishes and clean linens. The few negatives were the garbage was never picked up (there were only 2 garbage cans). There wasn't any information at the house (or in email) telling you where the pool was, local attractions or takeout menus- a nice to have idea. By the way, the pool was very nice. Sofa beds were rough (okay for kids) . Overall we had a great stay and I would recommend CabinsUSA!

Great stay! Beautiful cabin! The only issues we had was the refrigerator would not get cold and the pull out couches couldn't be slept on due to the springs. Other then that we had a great stay! Will be bringing our youth group back!

Our family had a wonderful time in this cabin. It suited our needs well. We loved that every bedroom had it's own bathroom. It was furnished well and comfortably. There was plenty of parking and the area is quiet. We loved that it had pool access. We eat all our meals at the cabin and found the silverware to be in a little shorter supply than worked for us. Also, the TV's in the bedrooms are very old and difficult to get to work. Overall, it was a great experience.

We had our first family vacation here and the cabin was awesome. It is very spacious. The only thing that I didn't like about it was that I wasn't able to see a good view of the mountains. But my family really enjoyed this cabin.

This was the perfect cabin for our large family vacation! We really enjoyed our stay as it was close to everything we wanted to do.

My family had an awesome time staying in the beautiful cabin. We had a full house but the cabin gave us plenty of room. We had a great time playing games around the big table in the kitchen, we laughed so much. The picnic area in the back was awesome to get everyone together for dinner. I suggest that if you are vacationing with a large group you should look into this property. My family will be back. The staff has always been great to us and that's what keeps us coming back.

We had a great time, the cabin was wonderful, everything worked properly, and the location was just what we wanted: close to the mountains, close to the shops. We'll be back!

We came in after a snow - so our cabin walk-way had not been cleared - nor had parts of the parking area - so we had one or two falls - gratified that there were no injuries. There were a couple of Televisions not in place, and after the one in the living room was put in it did not work - only wanted it to show one short video but could not use.
