Fantastic cabin!! We extended our stay an extra day because we just hated to leave.
Cabin itself was clean and comfortable. For the price with a private pool and hot tub was decent. Location was great! The mattress protector on pull out couch is disgusting with stains all over. The extra bedding that are in drawer to use also had stains in many spots. Towels were clean but had other people's hair still on them. We enjoyed our stay despite these things and would book again but bring our own linens.
Everything at the cabin was as described. The only negative thing was the king mattress. We both found it to be uncomfortable. The private pool was nice, but could have been a little warmer.Some reviews stated problems finding cabin. I followed directions supplied by cabinsUSA and had no problems. Will definitely rent again.
The only issue we had with the cabin, was that it was 87° in there when we checked in. It took several hours to get it to a comfortable temperature. Made it a little uncomfortable for sleeping the first night.
But other than that it was awesome. The location was great. And loved the swimming pool in the cabin! Will definitely stay there again
The cabin was exactly what we were hoping for.
The directions from your company that came in the email were off. There was no stop sign and then the road at 2/10 of a mile is Panther Way, instead of Patterson Lead Way. We are very familiar with pigeon forge, cabins and back country roads but it took us a long time to find the cabin. I would highly suggest someone making the drive and re writing the directions. We checked out at 7:45am and didn't receive the check out email with instructions until 8:30am. Luckily, we had already done the things it listed. I suggest sending the check out email with the check in so all the information is together.
Besides those two things, we had a great experience. Thank you!

The cabin is VERY secluded which is wonderful but makes it a little difficult to find. The GPS is VERY WRONG, we were informed and given directions, that weren't very helpful in the DARK (took us over an hour to find) and not that great in daylight. I think a lantern or colorful light on the row of mailboxes may be helpfully for future guest as a landmark. It was very scary and a little dangerous looking for it at night, so try to get there before the sun goes down or you could easily get lost. The cabin was cozy and comfortable but could use some deep cleaning especially bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and clean, as were living spaces. The pool is supposed to be heated but was kind of too cold for myself but the kids didn't mind. Now the hot tub on balcony was PERFECT with an amazing view. There is a table top video game by the pool table, if you want to use BRING PLENTY OF QUARTERS! I absolutely love the location, far enough for a peaceful vacation but close to many attractions, restaurants, and stores! The driveway is very steep and easy to miss, but once you find it, you'll have a great time. The door between living room and pool room needs looked at, as does door between pool and balcony, they appear to have been pried open at some point. The windows are need of a good cleaning, lots of cob webs especially between balcony and pool, making it a somewhat difficult to see into pool room. This is a great cabin, especially if taking kids.. lots to do inside but would not allow them outside.. again driveway is very steep and there's no play area, there is a grill for cooking out, that could also use a good scrub down. The air conditioning worked great, as did ceiling fan. The decor is pleasant but the cabin looks a lot bigger in pictures. Staff did call next morning to check on us and was very nice. I would definitely recommend this company and this cabin. We had a great time... ONCE WE FOUND IT. ???? Good chance I'll rent it again.
The cabin was great. My kids loved it. Location was a little higher on the mountain than I thought. Not too far from Dollywood. The cabin needed some more cleanliness but overall great stay and great cabin.
This was the most expensive and smallest property we have stayed in. Unfortunately, the pool was cloudy throughout our entire visit which was a large draw to the property.
Great cabin for a great price. Clean, comfy and had everything to keep the kids entertained. An indoor pool, hot tub and pool table. We had a wonderful stay here
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was everything we expected it to be! My Grandchildren loved the swimming pool and my daughter and Son in law loved the hotub! We will definitely stay here again!
The only downside for the cabin was it had mold in the master bath due to no exhaust fan. The dryer wouldn't hardly dry our clothes and the heated pool was ice cold when we first got there. Other then that everything was amazing for our honeymoon.
We had a good stay in this cabin. It was overall a nice cabin could use some updating of door handles "the master bedroom especially it won't lock" but I would stay here again.
The cabin was great. The kids loved the inside pool and hot tub. There were only a handful of things that could use some improvement. The door knobs need to be updated because they don't lock except for the master bedroom which locks you inside when you actually use the lock. There wasn't enough towels nor a good skillet to cook with. Lastly the site did not mention the road condition to the cabin. it was definitely scary for me but my husband loved the drive up. The fine print said to contact staff to inquire about the road conditions before booking I would definitely do that the next time I book a cabin. Overall it was a great cabin for a small family to enjoy.
We chose this cabin for the pool, and we were very pleased with it. We also enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and arcade game. We have no complaints and would definitely rent this cabin again. I will echo what other reviews have said about the pool table, there is not really enough room to play pool in the space, but it served our purposes just fine.
During my stay I experienced a few issues that never got resolved while we were there. 1. The hot tub never got hot, so we could not enjoy that during our stay. 2. The bathroom & bedroom doors did not have any door knobs on them so we had to shower & use the bathroom with the doors open. If you shut the doors you would be locked in, which happened to me twice! I called maintenance to come fix both, hot tub & knobs. They came & he told me he could not fix the knobs and that the hot tub was going to get hot within the next hour or so, it never did. & 3. The shower curtains had mildew on them and needs to be changed! This was my first cabin trip and I did enjoy myself, the indoor pool was great, & clean. Just a few mishaps along the way, I do wish the hot tub was working that's something we really wanted to enjoy. But, hey hopefully this review changes some things for the next person who books!
Everything was great but the hide a bed, the mattress was useless so we slept in the chairs and there was mold on the the shower curtains. Fix the mild and hide a bed mattress and it's a great stay.
The cabin was nice and we enjoyed our stay. Considering how much it cost I think that there are things that need fixed. The hot tub was nice but not all of the jets worked properly; the washer did not work well; we had to have someone come to fix the refrigerator after we cooked all of our food so it wouldn’t spoil while we waited. It takes forever to get a hold of someone at your company if you have any issues during your stay. I feel this is unacceptable when you are paying over $600 per night. We really liked the cabin but you should really make sure that all of the amenities you are advertising are up to par.
I booked this cabin to get a break from the reality of the Corona virus. I had a trip to Vegas canceled because of the virus, but I still wanted to get away. I figured a cabin with the amenities of its own swimming pool, game room, and hot tub would make life in these times a little easier to bare. The pool was wonderful, as was playing the classic games of Pac-Man, Frogger, Centipede, and many others on the arcade table. The king size bed downstairs was very comfortable. The queen bed upstairs was missing the comforter, not sure if housekeeping just forgot to put it back on after cleaning or what, but after making a phone call to cabinsusa, a blanket was brought and left at the door for us. If you are looking forward to a cabin with a nice hot tub, and that's what is most important to you and your cabin selection, I would not chose this particular cabin. The hot tub is pretty old and even after calling maintenance on the second day, the tub never got warmer than 90 degrees and therefore was not used. The location of this cabin is very nice. It is close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin is up the mountain, which was perfectly fine for this time of year, but a 4X4 would definitely be needed in the winter. The check in and out process was very simple. We were emailed lock codes and directions the day before arrival. Check out is as simple as sending a text. If you are wanting to cook dinner at the cabin, you may want to bring your own skillet(s). The cabin provided 3, but I was only able to use 1 (a very small one) because the other 2 stuck really bad. Other than that, the kitchen itself was stocked with everything I would use at home and have no complaints. Overall, the cabin has many more positives than negatives and I would definitely stay at The Waterlog again. The pool was the deciding factor for me and I was not disappointed. I plan on booking a larger cabin in the future for my extended family and will be using Caninsusa without a doubt.
The pool made the stay. That's why we choose this cabin. The kids loved it and I loved the convenience of it. Now here are the pros and cons of the property. Pros : the pool area was nice. The attached full bath is always warm and we loved being able to change and shower out there. This was a nice feature. There is a lock on the entry to the pool for added safety that is great if you have little ones,we appreciated that. The cabin was well stocked with towels and toiletries. The beds were comfortable we all slept well. Cons: The hot tub needs updating, it took 12 hours to reach temp, only one corner is fully functional with jets. The stove takes forever to heat up as do the stove eyes. Some of the kitchen ware ,pans and knives could be replaced. The drawer to the stove comes off track each time you open it. There are only 2 sleeping pillows provided for each bed, even the king...yet an overabundance of throw pillows. If you plan on using the pull out bring your own pillows and blankets. There was gum stuck behind the bed post on the king bed and on the bottom post of the upstairs bed. Which is no ones fault except whoever's put it there. Just gross. Not a great view of anything but does feel very private. Over all we enjoyed our stay. Anyone I spoke with from Cabins USA was extremely helpful and polite!! We have stayed with CU in the past and would again but not at this property.
We arrived and the cabin itself was very clean. The pool was extremely dirty and cloudy, you could not see the bottom. We called cabins USA the next morning and someone was out in a hour or so and cleaned the pool and added chlorine which was great, but it took a few days to get cleared up so we didn’t get to swim much. That and the door to the pool from the house does not lock so with 3 small children we were nervous that one might fall in one morning so needless to say I slept in the recliner in front of that door the entire stay. The pool table does not have any room to play pool with the walls and balcony but short pool sticks are provided. The arcade game was a big hit with the kids though. All in all it’s a nice cabin fully stocked and the pool was the only disappointment. This was our first pool cabin rental as we usually just stay in a cabin without the pool and will probably choose one without on our next stay.
We had a pretty nice stay. We loved the location of the cabin. We have a few things we didn't like, The jets on the hot tub didn't seem to work very well and it looks like its a common problem based on other reviews. Also we didn't really get to enjoy the pool much because it just seemed dirty (you couldn't even see the bottom of the shallow pool) if we would have known this we probably wouldn't have paid the extra money to use the pool. Otherwise it was a nice stay in a great location, it just hurt the experience a little paying extra to have a dirty pool that couldn't really be used
I loved it really nice cabin. Only problem was the jacuzzi didn’t warm til the next morning which was check out time the filter n the jacuzzi and pool needs to be changed. And the dryer only works on timed dry. I also noticed the pool really cloudy probably from others using lotion jumping in the pool.
Overall, the cabin and experience was great. There was an issue with the Hot tub not warming up... but a call to maintenance resolved that. We should probably mention that the video game unit upstairs has an issue with the joystick and fire button for the "player 2" side of the unit. Finally, I would recommend putting the Wifi password on the paperwork you email to renters. We had to call to get that information, which again was easily resolved, but we believe it should have been on the paperwork in the future. Otherwise, great cabin and amenities. Loved the indoor pool, the location, the cleanliness, etc.
Overall it was ok. Pool didn't heat. There was no light at the hot tub so we couldn't really enjoy the hot tub. Found empty beer cans in the cabinet. Seen bugs on bed upstairs, called the office to notify them (didn't know if it was bed bugs or what). Thankfully we didn't even need that room. But they sent some one out the next day to "handle the situation" but someone came out with no phone call before and just sprayed i guess. Didn't like how they handled that at all. The drive way was steep, thankfully we had good weather. Wouldn't stay there again, but maybe another cabin thru Cabins USA.
Overall trip was great. Hot tub and dryer weren’t working. Pool was great. Very close to town. Pool table room was too small to play pool in. Would have been a perfect trip if the hot tub and dryer were working.
Only issue we really didn’t care for was that on the third night the AC unit kept us up all night by being so loud and Vibrating the floor of the master Bed room. Other that that. Nice little cabin.
On the day of arrival, the hot tub would not heat. Called the number provided and no one came until the following morning. Service person showed at 9am knocking very loudly on door with no call before arriving. The indoor pool will only heat to 82 (this was still chilly to my children that was hoping for an enjoyable time with their terminally ill father. The pool also needed cleaning. There was no blankets for the fold out bed in the living room. The kitchen had light bulbs out. Found empty beer boxes and full box of beer in bedroom when putting away clothes (tells me it was not throughly cleaned after last guest checked out). The doorlock was not the easiest in the world to operate as it had an 8 digit passcode on it. Also this location has a steep drive up the mountain. The view was not great as it was surrounded by trees. The dryer also stopped working during the stay and the service person came the same day (he was very polite and gave a call before showing up at the door) however he couldn't fix the dryer and when we left it was still broken.
It's a beautiful place to stay but,the pool table doesn't have enough room to play the frying pans are in bad shape and the ice maker was not working correctly. The grill outside is not what I expected also.need a grill on the deck not in the driveway. It was a little pricey but the extra fees is what made it almost out of reach for us. Great location and privacy is awesome.
I would stay again, because of the location...but they would have to fix a few things.... the hot tub never got hot, and the jets didn't work. Didn't get to use that all weekend.... The pool had no heat the first day and half, was dirty and couldn't be used. We called it in.... The maintenance man, who was only there to service the pool and hot tub, but for some reason was in the upstairs bedroom (a whole flight above both). Customer service was great, but maintenance was not. The amenities need maintained better. Don't hype people up and charge them extra for amenities they can't use
The cabin was great. We really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The internet connection suffered significantly and needs to be looked at. Also, the cabin was light in the way of kitchen utensils.
The cabin was more fabulous than the picture. My son and daughter had an amazing time in the hot tub and pool. The view on the deck was my favorite part. Very private and beautiful. I would stay in one of the cabins again for sure! Our favorite part of the trip was the cabin and the privacy and amenities.
We loved the cabin! It was extremely clean! The pool, hot tub, and game room were wonderful. We were not prepared for how high up in the mountains we were. The roads were extremely steep, narrow, and curvy. They were so bad we tried to get a refund and stay somewhere else. When we were unable to do that, we decided to make the best of it and had a wonderful stay. As long as you're comfortable driving on the mountain roads, you'll love this cabin!
The cabin was great! The pool lights up beautiful colors at night and it was a great way to keep the kids busy. Very close to town. Beautiful views! Would definally stay here again!

Everything was good except the pool was not clean when we got there and the hot tub was not working but when we called the pool guy and the hot tub person came in good time and they fixed the issues. But I think the next time we go down we will get a cabin not so high and not to curvy of a drive to get to it.
The pool was not working properly it was to cold to get in.

The Cabin was in a good location, only about 2 miles to get to the main road. The driveway is steep. Not as steep as some, but if the weather would have been bad I think I would have had a hard time with my Ford Flex making it up it. The cabin was about 1 mile up. Not a great view. Just trees and you could look up and see cabins higher up the hill. It did feel secluded, but I think that is because the surrounding cabins were destroyed by fire and were in the process of being rebuilt. The game room is not great. The Classic arcade game was a lot of fun for our family, but the pool table was useless. It was not level and the walls were so close, that you would have to use a stick the size of a straw to seriously be able to hit your ball. The owners should put in an air hockey table or something similar that could actually be used correctly to make the gameroom better. The beds were okay. The sofa bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever been on. However, my 11 year old did not mind it. I would not put an adult on it, unless your goal was to make them miserable. Let's talk about the reason why everyone gets this cabin in the first place.... the pool! The pool was small! My kids got in and it was crowded with just them in it. They are only 11, 9, and 2! However, again, they absolutely did not care. I mean, swimming indoors is fun for kids! They loved it. I wouldn't recommend trying to fit multiple adults in there. Not a lot of cabinet space if you plan on buying food to prepare. Not really a big deal for us, but just an observation. The toilet paper provided was definately the cheap cheap kind. Bring your own if that is something that bothers you. There were gnat like bugs that were in the cabin and some creepy crawly bugs. Nothing over the top or abnormal for a home in the woods, I'm sure. The hottub was not hot when we arrived. It took all night to warm up and we were able to get in it the next day. The jets are not good or powerful at all. Overall, we had a great time. We didn't dwell on things that weren't great and being together was the most important thing for us. We stayed in a better home last year with a better view, but no pool. I think this cabin was overpriced for the size just because it has a pool. I wouldn't personally stay in this cabin again. If space is not an issue for you, this cabin would be fine. I think I will opt for more space and a bigger pool next time.
What an amazing cabin! The kids loved the pool. The view was amazing. The entire cabin was very clean. Our only complaint was that the hot tub didn't work during our three day stay. Everything else was perfect! We will definitely return!

Cabin was nice, a little on the small side. Location was about 15 minutes from the main strip. The drive up the mountain was a bit intense at night and the hill to the cabin was very steep. Pool is nice, was comfortable for about 3 adults. Did not have blow dryers in any of the 3 bathrooms like most other cabins have. Other than that the stay was great, express check in was great. We really enjoyed our time.
We absolutely loved it. Only at one point during the weekend someone decided it was time to do lawn maintenance and trim around the area during our stay. It was VERY inconvenient because we had just gotten back to the cabin and we're trying to nap together. It really ruined a nice romantic moment for us. Hearing that noise outside. Just getting there we did have issues with the temperature of the water to the "heated" pool and jacuzzi BUT the maintenance man that came to help us was very excellent in his service to us and all went very well with that. I did feel the cleaning of the place could of been better. I certainly saw some good cobwebs around the place. The cobwebs are not impressive to me. In the swimming area there were some loose floor panels. Otherwise the place was fantastic. I would really really like to see us coming back.
If you go out to the deck and shut the door you can't get back in. The refegerator fan will drive you nuts. Noise. The couch bed is not good. Wore out No padding. If you take a shower up stairs. Water leaks down into the kitchen
The pool was get the kids had a blast. The express check in could of been better we should get the same treatment and welcome package as some coming into the office .it was well worth the trip

The cabin is secluded and surrounded by high trees, took us awhile to find it but once we got there it's worth it. Pool is small and my nine year old can stand in it with his head and shoulders above the water. The hot tub didn't. Work for couple of days but maintainace managed to restart it for us on our last day which was nice. The loft has a packman game which the kids enjoyed. The balcony is peaceful, the kitchen has everything you need if you choose to cook like pots and pans, a mixer, and a blender. We used the speed check in and codes were emailed to us. There wasn't instructions for Wi-Fi so we had to call for the code. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful cabin in a prime location. We have a special needs son who love's to swim so the choice was easy to pick one with a pool. Everything about the cabin was good except the pool was not heated when we got there. We called on Tuesday when it still was not even warm and the maintenance crew did get it going for Wednesday and Thursday. We where blessed with wonderful weather for March and used the deck and hot tub. Yes we loved the cabin.

We had a great time staying at the water log. However, the heated pool did not work at all while we were there which was disappointing because that was the reason for renting this cabin. However, I fully understand that sometimes things break and it was unlucky that it happened when we were there. So to correct the problem, cabins USA refunded half my money and gave me special offers for the future. Cabins USA did right in my opinion given the situation. Everyone person I talked with about this issue was overly polite and helpful. I definitely recommend cabins USA to anyone simply because they believe in keeping their customers happy.
We loved the cabin and the kids loved the swimming pool.

What a lovely experience! The cabin was beautiful and in a secluded location (with the exception of a happy raccoon family). Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away and enjoy the beautiful smokey mountain scenery. Will definitely come back! Loved it.

We had initially booked another cabin with Cabinsusa but when we arrived we found a couple of small issues that would negatively affect our enjoyment of the cabin we had rented. I called Cabinsusa and spoke with someone and we were quickly and painlessly moved to another cabin with no questions asked. Both people that we spoke with were pleasant and helpful. The new cabin was great and we had a wonderful weekend. Customer service like that is rare in this day and age, so we were very pleased with the way we were treated.
