Brandi with Cabins USA was awesome when we were looking for a cabin at the last minute. The Bear Paw Chalet was perfect for our family vacation. It was clean, conveniently located and had a nice view of the river. The hot tub was nice to have in the evenings. We will definitely be back!
Our family enjoyed our stay at Bear Paw Chalet. It was nice, clean, comfy & had everything we needed. It's located in a great neighborhood on the river & very convenient to everything in Pigeon Forge, but still so peaceful & relaxing. The air quit working the day before we left, so I called the office & they responded quickly. They sent Donnie to check it out, & he fixed the problem in no time. He was great, so personable & polite. I definitely recommend Cabins USA & Bear Paw Chalet!
We are repeating vacationers to this chalet. We love the location, it is cost efficient, and the stream, the squirrels and especially the car port. We had issues this time and got locked out of the chalet. (The battery died on the keypad) There was no lock box so Randy came and brought a key and let us in, plus put in a lock box too. He also installed a smoke alarm, and unclothed the shower. He was so nice and helpful. Thank you Cabins USA for this wonderful place and being so great. I'll call you soon.
Loved the area. The house was missing a few things little things like the beaters for the mixer. But this was an inconvenience. Overall very satisfied with my stay.
Great rental! We stayed for 5 days and upon arrival it was exceptionally clean and ready for us to unpack and enjoy! Everything we needed was provided such as towels, sheets/blankets, kitchen utensils, etc. Washer and Dryer worked well also. Outside was clean and such a relaxing time on the swinging bench enjoying the river. The back deck was large enough to hang out and enjoy the hot tub as well. Close enough to town, only about a mile or so off of the main road, yet far enough away to have some peace and quiet. The reservation process was seamless and the staff was always at the ready with any last minute phone calls to answer some questions. My family and i enjoyed our stay and would recommend to all! I must add, though, the dishwasher wasn't attached to the counter so when we opened it, it sort of was unbalanced and awkward to load, yet still completely operable. Also, only 2 out of the 4 jets were working in the hot tub. However, these 2 things were not a dig deal, and so minor, i just feel i had to mention it for full disclosure. We were very, very happy with our stay and would definitely use cabins usa in the future!
Very convenient. Quiet neighborhood. River Pointe is our go to spot. Have stayed in River Pointe 6-7 times. Bear Paw was very accommodating for our party of 5.
Bear Paw is an excellent place. This is the 2nd time I've rented it. The location is accessible to all areas I visit during a nice getaway. Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Has every amenity and kitchen needs that you may have. The grill was Def put to use!. Hearing the river while enjoying eating, a beverage, or just plain relaxing is great mental therapy any tome of the day. Cabins USA staff were fantastic during the whole rental process and they are my "go-to" on all rentals I've done on tge past as well as future ones.
We've stayed here twice now. Great location and beautiful setting. Everything was very clean. Arrived at around 2:00 p.m. and check-in was at 4:00 p.m. Even though the cabin was ready, they would not let us check-in because the keypad was on a timer. Hot tub needs to be replaced. Jets do not work properly.
Very nice cabin. The only problem was we have a handicap son and it was difficult to get him in and out of the shower. If you have any problems with walking this cabin has a lot of steps and a very high tub to shower in. Loved the area. The Steps were not a problem for us but the shower was.
Great Chalet, great location, love the covered parking,and the swings under the house. One major concern was the ceiling fan on the back porch out of the living room doors had no wall switch to turn it off and the pull chain was broken so the fan stayed on high 24/7. This could be a fire hazard as electronics eventually break-down, motors seize and over heat. With temps in the 30s, the high speed fan mede it impossible to enjoy the back porch. Only other issue was the fire place was not on, did I mention it was in the 30s, fireplace would have been nice. A little more attention to open area sweeping would be a nice thing as we found things on the floor from previous guest that should have been easily seen and cleaned up. Everything else was great, bed comfortable and we will definitely be getting this one again. This was our 23rd trip and our 22nd Cabins USA rental. They are always helpful and we are always grateful for their professionalism.
We love Bear Paw Chalet. Have stayed here many times. Love the 3min drive to the main strip. River streams thru back off deck. Large covered parking below house. Open floorplan. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Very quiet neighborhood. Feels like you are miles away but convenient to everything. A great place to stay. Cabins USA is the best!
This cabin was very nice. A great price and location. Would definitely stay here again and refer friends here as well. Only a couple of things that didn't get a 10. The dishwasher was not attached to the counter and when you open the door the entire machine falls out and the bathroom was not cleaned as well as I thought it should be, but nothing major. I highly recommend this cabin. Cabins USA has always been great to book thru. Look forward to our next visit.
Wife & I hade a great time on our journey . This property helped to make it wonderful knowing we had a very nice & comfortable place to call home . We Yeally liked the hot tub after a lot of time being on our feet all day . Had everything needed & then some . View was awesome close to attractions was a great stay . Would recommend to anyone stay at this place
The cabin was clean, pretty and at good location. Beds were comfortable and most things in good shape. However the dishwasher was unhinged and almost falls off. Since we do light cooking, we would have appreciated a chopping board, bowls. Barring that nothing to complain, had a comfortable stay.
It's in a great location and check-in and check-out was easy. Hot tub was nice and clean! The owners need to know the house needs a deep clean desperately. Back porch needs dusted, black ring around tops of inside of toilets, black in the bottom of tubs, very disorganized kitchen. Bedrooms and beds were clean. Other then a deep clean needed it was nice and peaceful!
Bear Paw was a great stay. Location was perfect. CUSA was most helpful in re-booking from a canceled trip last summer. Loved having morning coffee, dining, or just relaxing on the deck, with the sounds of the river. Definitely cozy and comfortable inside. All amenities I needed were there. The grill was very utilized!!

Was a very nice chalet located close to town. Directions was a little hard to find at night, but after that it was easy. Service by office and maintenance staff was excellant. I think the owner needs to know this.
The only thing I would improve on the bear claw chalet is new throw rugs and outside mat by the door, & dust off the back deck. The comfortable beds were perfect and we had a blast in this chalet. Great vacation. Thank you!
Great place to stay location is great very clean and quite. The only issues we had was the hot tub didn't work it heated but jets would not work. But we will definitely stay here again.
This cabin was great! Very close to everything and a nice relaxing spot by the river. The only negative was that we had some trouble with the hot tub controls.
Great place to stay. Very nice. Now they have WiFi and Netflix. My only complaint is the deck and furniture on the deck needs a good cleaning. Other than that the inside was very clean. Love cabins USA and will continue to rent from them.
The location of the chalet is perfect! It's within a couple of minutes from the parkway but still nice and quiet. Being next to the river was very peaceful.
The chalet itself was clean and comfortable. There were a few things that should be added to the kitchen amenities. There are no skillets, cereal bowls, and few other pans/dishes to cook with.
There is no wifi. This sucked.
We would definitely stay in Riverpoint again but would choose another chalet if available.
The cabin and the view were beautiful. The only complaints that I can honestly say I have are there was no wifi - I just assumed since its 2020 that all the rentals would come with this I now know its optional and I should have read better - and the hot tub Jets were not working. The only time I interacted with the staff was to make a change to my reservation and they were very helpful and friendly at that time. Everything else was done via website or email and the process was super easy. Had a great trip and will def book again.
Very nice cabin with a few issues but nothing major. The ice machine was slow making ice but we bought ice no biggie. When you get in the hot tub the water falls down on bottom swing. Bring more dishes if you have a big party staying. Overall very comfortable and a great location. I will be visiting this area again.
The home has no WiFi had to go three houses down just to get Wi-Fi.service .they don't have many dishes to cook in. The swing downstairs had water from the upstairs leaking down swing had mold and mildew other than that ihad a wonderful stay my children have fun except for the Wifi
The cabin was wonderful! We enjoyed the river view and the quietness of the location, but were still very close to everything. It was very clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. There isn’t internet access, other than not being able to look up places to go it was nice for everyone to have a break from their phones. We had a little issue with the hot tub, it was nice and worked great the first night, but the temperature was messed up after that.
We loved our cabin’s location!!! I will say that the cleaning staff could do better. It is a nice cabin but we need a bigger one next year. I can say reservations, check in and check out was a great experience with this company.
This was my first time renting a chalet/cabin for our stay and I loved it. Easy access, beautiful scenery, location and still close to everything. The only thing I didn’t like was there was no internet access and this was something g extra that I gad to pay to put on my phone and my daughter phone while we were at the cabin. Other than that it was great. I wish it was pet friendly, next time I would love to bring my lil Maltipoo with me. I will rent again. I’m in the area at least twice a year and this was an easy joyful experience. With the Covid-19 we had bought a lot of our own things such as covers blankets wash cloths and towels just to be on the safe side. But still I loved the stay. Thank you for being there.
Everything was awesome beautiful Property. The Distance from the main highway 441 was awesome very close. Very clean. The only Disappointing thing about the chalet was we had to leave so soon,and the hot tub didn’t work properly and the water was nasty needed to be drained and cleaned out!!
The only big draw back to me is that the chalet has no wi fi. This is a must for me. Great chalet and I would recommend it to everyone. You are in the middle of everything but away from everything.
Property need WIFI and the ceiling fan in 2nd bedroom did not work. Other than that, everything was prefect. Clean, quiet - nice after being in a hotel for the last two nights.
I would just like to say that this was one of the cleanest and we'll decorated cabins with all the amenities you could need to have a wonderful time. We stay with Cabins USA every time we come to Tennessee and are very pleased with the service we receive. Bear Paw Chalet is a real gem that allows you to be able to sit on the deck and relax looking at the river, but also let's you be close by to all the attractions Pigeon Forge has to offer. We were very pleased!

The house was very clean and well maintained. Located on the river- lots of wildlife.
Only cons: climbing the stairs with luggage (the only way in and out), no views (yes you are looking at the river but there are cabins on the other side), and your neighbors are very close (the back deck is not private at all).
Overall loved the property- would recommend.
Everything was great except there was a problem with the cable it would only pick up about 8 channels which were actually all local channels. But other than that our stay was perfect.
This was our second time staying at Bear Paw Chalet and it was great, Everything is clean and inviting. The beds are very comfortable.
I would highly recommend this cabin. It is located very close to the strip with no "mountain" roads. It is very quiet and the Pigeon River runs directly behind the cabin. There is a private driveway with plenty of parking room.
The staff at Cabins USA is great and they are very efficient in getting you into your cabin.
Our first cabin had a roof leak, so we had to be moved to another location. The only one available for our 4 day stay was the Bear Paw Chalet in Pigeon Forge. It was a great house, but not in the mountains as we had planned. Bear Paw is in a great location and convenient to the Parkway and shops, stores, and shows. The only amenity not included at Bear Paw is the internet, which seems to be a priority in todays world.
Everything was perfect! Just wish there was Wi-Fi in the cabin because service isn't always great especially with bad weather. But the chalet was beautiful and the scenery was breathtaking, a mother duck and her 10 ducklings walked to my 1 year old son and he loved it so much! Overall great place to stay!!
Inside the house was clean and comfortable. All places I have rented in the past provided Kleenex, was surprised when you did not.
We rented this unit because it was by the river and had swing and table where wives could sit and enjoy. We did not like that when we arrived the wives had to purchase two cleaning towels and cleaner, then spent 2 hours cleaning the swing, table and the furniture on the deck. The deck was full off cob webs. Both the areas for setting out side were very dirty and disappointing when we arrived. Again I want you to know the inside of the house was clean and we really enjoyed the inside, just unhappy with having to spend time cleaning the outside areas which was what we were renting for. Also would like to have had wifi.
Checking in was a breeze! The company was so good to us, even going above and beyond to switch cabins for us when half of our party could not make the trip. The chalet was wonderful! It was so close to the strip; less than a mile! My only true concern was the lack of WiFi. We were not aware of this prior to arrival and it hindered some of our party who had work and school commitments that could not be handled. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay, and we appreciate the host for allowing us to use their home for a weekend!
The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. The view of the creek was so relaxing. The location to everywhere was a plus. Definitely hope to come again.
Beautiful location and chalet. Tripping hazard from wood floors a concern.after several calls maintence came to inspect.we were told we would be contacted that night when repair would be or move us to a new location.did not happen.we put a chair over the large hump on floor and made the best of it. We have rented from USA cabins for 10 years and they are usually right on top of problems.this would not have been a concern if 2 people had not been almost hurt.according to guest book this had been reported since August.
We definitely made a good choice with picking this house to stay at. It was close enough to everything, but far enough away to not be in the crowd. It was very peaceful. The house was very nicely decorated and cozy. My only issue was some of the jets in the hot tub were not properly working, but other than that we were still able to enjoy it.
