Cheeky Chipmunk is in a great location very nice resort.
We were given wrong gate code, I called staff and was immediately given the correct code. The staff was pleasant and helpful when I called them. The cabin was very cozy and clean. Would recommend.
We enjoyed our stay at the Cheeky chipmunk getaway other than a few maintenance issues it was the perfect weekend. Unfortunately one of the smoke alarms chirped all weekend due to a low battery.
We were also a bit concerned about the wires and cables that had the cable box basically suspending in mid air in one of the downstairs bedrooms, that was a bit of a safety concern.
It might also be worth mentioning none of the controls worked on the hot tub on the porch and the pool table is in need of some repair. I do understand as a rental some of this is to be expected and by no means did it ruin our stay but a few of the issues are a safety concern. This will not deter me from choosing this home in the future it was a nice cabin with a good location. We had a great weekend and would definitely recommend Cabins USA to our friends for their rental needs.
2nd time staying in this same cabin...nice place, but could really use a DEEP cleaning. Cobwebs everywhere, there's mold on the north and west walls. Internet was NOT available the entire week we were there; tech came out, but could not fix it. Was not enough toilet paper or towels; bought toilet paper at the store & washed the towels.
I enjoyed my stay but the only complaints I have is not having wifi, a staff person had called and asked me how my stay was going and I told her good but the wifi is not working they had sent over a maintenance man and when I had arrived back to the cabin there was a new wifi connection/ password that still didn't not work.
In the downstairs bathroom there was a big hole on the wall that's in facing the toilet, I had put toilet paper inside because I wasn't sure what could probably come out of it because we had a lot of bees around and they was going into the logs, so I was just being cautious. But other then this I enjoyed my stay.
The Wi-Fi didn't work. Cob webs in the corners of the shower and other rooms as well. Those aren't deal breakers. The stay and place was still very comfy and nice
Overall, a great stay. Some things are a little outdated but the cabin is very nice. The biggest disappointment was, over time, people have thrown trash off the decks. Below the house is trashy! The cleaning fee is hefty enough, have the outside trash picked up!

We loved the cabin. But it definitely needs some maintenance . All door nobs were loose . Stairs were lose deck under hot tub needs some attention along with the bowing beam holding it up. Trash can is not bear proof we had to clean up the trash from the last guests baby diapers were everywhere outside . We did call about blown lights they came the next day to fix them. We did have a great long weekend. The cabin was beautiful just needs some attention.
Overall our stay was amazing. I did however notice that the ceiling fans have not been cleaned I awhile but that is a fairly minor detail. I just wish the back porch view was a little better. Couldn't really see much. Otherwise great time had by all.
Cabin was nice, modern. Stayed in mid July and foliage was heavy in the trees so there was absolutely no view from either of the porches. The cabin is located within Hidden Spings Resort. It is down a steep hill and if plans to stay are in winter, you will need 4 wheel drive to get in and out. There was a sleep number bed in the master bedroom but it was broken. Game room downstairs is nice, pool table and video game is a bit outdated and worn but still fun for the kids. Would definitely use CabinsUSA again but maybe a different property with a better view.
The property was great, first our family of 7 comfortably, few things could be fixed up little, stools real wobbly, couple things with spiral staircase but they came and attempted to fix it, still wobbly which kids feel couple times, we couldnt use the resort pool the entire time 4 days, because of maintence which really was downer because thats what the kids wanted to do in the cold weather other then that everything was perfect, we loved our stay. In winter just make sure you have 4wd for the hill..
Really enjoyed our time at the Cheeky Chipmunk. Cabin was clean. There were just a couple little things that need to be fixed...the blinds in the master bedroom need to be replaced and the toilet paper holder in master bath needs to be fixed. Very pleased with the cabin and the location was perfect for our family!!
I booked without reading the reviews and was a bit concerned at first. I have to say that the cabin was spotless clean and everything worked. My friends and I had a wonder weekend stay. It was a great weekend getaway. I highly recommend it to everyone.
Cabin was not cleaned at our arrival, staff had to send someone in leaving us unable to check in until 8 PM. With a 3 year old, that wasn't fun. Dust was everywhere still after being cleaned. Hot tub did not work. Fireplace shut off 10 minutes after cutting on and finally, mildew in ceilings in 2 different places. Not usual for this organization - they are usually very right and tight. Facility was very nice in a very nice area - just needs a thorough deep clean and the mildew/maintenance issues needs to be addressed.
I am just not happy with how much I spent for 3 nights and we could only use 2 TVs at a time. What's the point of having TVs in the bedroom if everyone can't watch them at the same time!?
When I called to book, I specifically asked about the hot tub. We get there and the hot tub was not heating. I called twice. Someone came twice while we were out of cabin. We did not have any update reported back to us about it. The hot tub was Never useable. Alot of spider webs, but clean over all. We LOVED the lay out. More privacy with the upper and lower areas. I will definitely reccomend and return here if hot tub is fixed. I did call to speak to someone about a refund due to hot tub, but I was prompted to leave a message, but noone Ever got back to me.
Great place over all. Here are only complaint the internet worked here and there, the hot tub was cold and wouldn't heat up so never got to use it. Stairs are very difficult even for my 30 year Old. There is no view and outside grounds could use some attention.
Bear tore out trash and flipped metal cage over but we never got to see it.
This cabin is located under a deep hill with no outlets. It was very quite but need updates like the furniture and pool table. It had a curvy stairway which mean it is not equipped for older and disabled people. Overall it was clean and comfortable. Also we saw a bear and it showed up day and night.
When we first arrived, we hadn't been given a code to get into the resort to access our cabin. When putting the code in, the box would shock you. We had that happen the 3 times we left the resort. It was a good sized jolt. You may want to alert the resort about this.
The cabin was very clean and in good order. However, the bathroom near the living room had no working fan. The living room TV worked the first day but after that it said the Direct TV couldn't be accessed (I was watching regular channels). The WIFI was not working correctly. I called and left a message with CabinsUSA the first day. No one returned my call during our visit. I would've liked a phone call, even if nothing could be done about the issue. The resort pool was very nice and our hot tub and other amenities worked well. We would use CabinsUSA again.
Cheeky chipmunk cabin is a great cabin for 7 people to stay in. The cabin was clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities for our stay. For your extra towels look under the cupboards in the bathroom.
The downfalls of this cabin include no mountain view due to the trees being in the way, the couch cushions are pulled off the couch and they are supposed to be attached, the master bed is broken. The pieces are in the dresser drawer. And for a 7 person cabin there are only 2 chairs on each level of the outside deck.. Other than that remember to bring extra blankets they only give you the minimum. Oh and watch out for that hill leading down to the cabin it's pretty steep!
Overall, this was a nice cabin and we enjoyed our stay. However, we definitely have several complaints/suggestions: 1) when we arrived at the resort, we had no idea there was a gate to enter, which required a code. We were never provided a code. This was very disappointing and we ended up having to pull off to the side and had to call CabinUSA to get the gate code. 2) water drips from the ceiling throughout the main floor. Water dripped on me in bed on our first night/morning. We called maint and someone came out and he saw all the moisture buildup. He said he wasn't sure what to do, but recommended leaving the ceiling fans on at all times. He said he would report the problem, but we never heard back from anyone. 3) the video game and pool table both worked, but both are pretty worn out and could stand to be replaced. 4) the bathrooms need towel hooks installed, multiple ones would be nice for multiple guests. 5) the bottom of the charcoal grill (the part that holds the charcoal) is about gone, it needs replaced.
THE AREA AND LAYOUT WAS GREAT. BUT THERE WAS A LOT OF THINGS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE. NOT SURE IF THE OWNERS EVEN KNOW OF THE ISSUES. WHEN WE OPENED THE DISHWASHER, IT FELL FORWARD ON US. THE MASTER BED IS BROKE AND HELD UP WITH BOARDS. THE TOILET IN THE UPSTAIRS WAS SO HARD TO FLUSH YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO BREAK IT, THE KIDS COULDN'T EVEN FLUSH IT. POOL TABLE WAS ONE OF THE WORST ONE WE EVER HAD. ICE MAKER DID NOT WORK. WE HAD TO WORK ON THE GARBAGE CAGE. THE BACK LEGS WE IN THE DIRT SO MUCH THAT WHEN YOU TRIED TO OPEN IT, IT WANTED TO FALL BACK AND I ALMOST FELL OVER WITH IT IF MY SON DIDN'T CATCH ME. HE PUT ROCKS UNDER THE BACK LEGS SO I COULD OPEN IT WHEN HE LEFT. THERE WAS A LOT OF GARBAGE AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE CABIN. I WOULD LOVE TO STAY THERE AGAIN IF THESE ISSUES WERE FIXED.
Beautiful cabin, was perfect for my group of 7! The only thing we didn't like was the driveway being a steep hill, besides that, I would absolutely recommend this cabin! Very clean. Not too close to neighbors.
Overall, the cabin was in a great place and was perfect for our stay. Just a few things you might want to check; Hot tub water was dirty, bad sewage smell at times throughout the cabin, and no IRON for the ironing board. I would recommend Cabins USA and this cabin to family and friends. The express check-in and out was awesome. MY family enjoyed our trip and stay.
Pros - what you see in pictures is what you get. Located right behind Dollywood and convenient to everything. Water pressure solid, works for a small group.
Cons - not really cons but more of FYI. The walls are super thin and you hear everything outside. People talking, cars coming and going so if you are not a heavy sleeper or have a crazy group at large cabin next door it could be iffy.
Animals in the walls, i get it being in the woods but may need a service call.
Couch needs to be replaced, it’s hurting.
The cabin is it very end of road down a steep hill so be aware of traveling in times of snowy weather, you may not make it back up and going down could be risky.
WiFi was there but terribly slow and cut off mid week.
No instructions to operate hot tub and could not make it heat. May have been resolved with call to office but didn’t try.
Overall it was a solid deal and fine stay. Like any property it may have some items but I would recommend it and certainly recommend the area for a trip, great town.
Our stay was great this is my first to book a cabin and i seen your rule and they are understanding. my question is for you guys to have a cleaning fee but also want your guest to clean up before depart. so do i receive that portion of my fee back that i did clean or is the fee just incase you all get someone to rent out and will not clean

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. It was a great view. We were able to see the fireworks at night from our top balcony that were being let off from DollyWood, that they do for the month of July. The location was great. Everything was not far to get to at all. Staff was great and courteous. Thank You Cabins USA for making our vacation a wonderful one. Everything was great except for the view we had it probably would be better in the winter so that’s why I gave a 7 for the location but I still would recommend this cabin. Thanks again I will see u guys next year.
Just need too work on customer service at the office one staff was so rude when I came in to ask for coupon to some of the attraction cuz the trip was a little expensive for my first time so I wanted to take my grandkids to some affordable attractions but my limit was just too outing because of the expense but we really enjoyed our stay at the cabin maybe families can get discounts if they are visiting the cabin for an family vacation or something more to do for the kids but thanks for everything I love it
What a great experience! I was a little nervous about a "cabin" but it was in tip top shape. Plenty of towles and kitchcen supplies. Clean and fresh inside. A pool table and video machine downstairs and the hot tub on the deck was the best way to end the day. I was shocked at how amazing it was for the low cost.
For the price, I expected cleaner facilities and window coverings unbroken. There was dead bugs in kitchen window seal and spider webs all over deck. In addition, when I went to remove pan from oven when I was fixing dinner, realized there were no pot holders. We had to use washclothes. Just very disappointing experience for price we paid.
The Cheeky Chipmunk Getaway is a great cabin in one of the most convenient locations in the area. Unfortunately, this cabin is located next door to a large cabin from another rental company that holds multiple guests. The first three nights were almost unbearable as the neighbors partied around the hot tub until way into the night, and as soon as the small children (multiple families) woke up in the mornings, they put them all outside to run and scream and play until the adults got up. So there was no sleeping at night or in the mornings. Just when we thought we would get a reprieve after they checked out, the next day another set of multiple guests arrived and although they did not create a disturbance early in the mornings, they did party outside until way past midnight on the decks. Honestly, this is the only drawback to the cabin location. There was problems with the dishwasher the first day and it took me three days to speak to a human in customer service to get the issue resolved after leaving multiple messages on voicemail. Once I finally got a person on the phone the repair was completed quickly. The annoying part was the dishwasher was broken and beeped every few minutes which wasn't too bad except it was not too far from the master bedroom so you had to listen to it continuously until we finally got it to stop the next day. However, this minor problem with the dishwasher and customer service is not a deal breaker for me. I have booked with CABINSUSA in the past and plan on continuing to do so in the future! They have no control over the other property rentals and their occupants. I would suggest, however, an improvement to customer service to answer the phones or return messages to their renters.
When we first arrived, we were not sure we were at the right cabin or not. There is usually house numbers, the name of the cabin and a Cabins USA sign on the cabin. This cabin did not have any of those. The driveway has a steep drop off that really could use a better , closer guardrail as the fence behind the driveway is not something you want to use when judging how far to pull into the driveway and it will certainly not stop you from driving off the cliff. Since this cabin was new to the Cabins USA program, the bedspreads/comforters were not on the beds and no where in the cabin. I had to call the office to request them as well as extra blankets for the pull out sleeper, which were not in the cabin. We noticed there wasn't a dish drainer so you could hand wash dishes and set them to dry. The dishwasher front panel was broken so we didn't attempt to use it. We did try to use the Jacuzzi tub, but when we did, water started leaking through the downstairs ceiling into the bedroom below. There are usually rocking chairs on the deck for you to sit and relax, but there were none at this cabin. I have rented many cabins over the last 6 years and this is the first time I have had any issues. I do understand that this was a new rental and it will not discourage me from renting from Cabins USA in the future. I am sure that once the team has had time to review the cabin and get it completely set up like the others, this cabin will be just as beautiful as the rest of the cabins they have available to rent. I always enjoy my visit to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and look forward to my next trip to the area, and of course I will book my cabin through Cabins USA as I always do!
