THE ONLY THING WE WERE DISSATISFIED WITH WERE THE SHOWERS. THE SHOWER HEADS NEED TO BE CLEANED TO HAVE BETTER WATER PRESSURE, OTHER THAN THAT, IT WAS PERFECT!!
Amenities: The mattresses are really worn but we slept ok. Watch the shower knobs its hot water just tricky on the turn knobs. NO INTERNET. In this day and age everyone should have internet. I didn't know this until after I booked. I needed to do some work and didn't think to ask; I assumed, so you know what assuming means. Place was clean, hot tub was nice. One last thing watch your Google GPS it will take you a wrong way. We ended up in someone's home (YIKES) I used my Waze to get us back to the cabin.
Very nice and clean rustic cabin high in the mountains., with great views from the wrap around deck of the mountains in the distance. Very well appointed with comfortable furniture, a nice and clean Hot-tub on the deck and everything in the full kitchen you need to cook or warm up leftovers. Only negatives were No wifi (but might not be a negative to some), and a treacherous, steep gravel road with a VERY sharp turn to access the cabin. I was in a 4-wheel drive GMC pickup and still had a hard time coming into and leaving the cabin. However, with that said, it was a great 4 days in a great secluded cabin in the mountains.
nice place with some exceptions the flooring was warped, making the doors, front and back hard to open and close and harder to lock. The furniture was old (the recliners) and would not stay closed , the over the stove microwave was hanging down 2 inches and the inside of the microwave looked like it had rusted out and was , caulked and spray-painted, and it still has the commode that are low to the ground, a problem for me, but not for my wife, we also had problem with the washer .
I know that sounds like a lot but they ask for an honest review all in all we had a wonderful four days the price was about average I liked the location very private , i wish they would do a little updating to this place and i would use it everytime i came down , thank you hope this is helpful
Our cabin was very nice and in a central location to all the attractions. It could have been cleaned a little better. There was a build-up of dust/hairspray on the bathroom towel bars in the upstairs bathroom, and there was gobs of dust/hair/dirt hanging out of most the air ducts. The floors were dirty/dusty in the corners and around the railing in the loft area. One of the recliners was reclined when we arrived which seemed weird, but we quickly realized it was broken. The kitchen area was clean and the whole cabin smelled great when we walked in.
Place was clean and private. Driveway was a little hard to get up and down. The road going to it was a little narrow. Very peaceful and nice though! Would recommend. Easy check in and checkout.
Heavens Gift could use updated furniture but other than that the cabin is absolutely amazing! This is my second time staying here and I have enjoyed it both times.
Cabin USA Heavens Gift has to be by far my most personal favorite cabin out there! It is perfectly secluded away at the top of the mountain with views all around but, only 15minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for activates. Not to mention when the sun starts to set the mountain's are crazy beautiful! Plus you have the fancy hot tub with jets and changing lights to enjoy the views with or even from the comfort of the couch with the fireplace going and windows perfectly showing the mountains. I truly have never been in more peace or relaxations until this last weekend. Thank you cabin USA for a weekend I'LL NEVER FORGET!
The cabin is beautiful and spacious inside, and the view is very nice. The hot tub was fantastic and very relaxing. The only real negative is the bed upstairs seems a little worn out, as well as the couch and the two recliners in the living room. If those could get replaced, it would be perfect. Also, if you plan on being online with your phone or tablet, be aware that the wifi is not very good. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It wasn't much of a concern for us until we tried to look up stuff to do while we were there. I wouldn't let the lack of internet steer you away from staying here though. Also, 4-wheel drive is a definite must for getting up the hill to the cabin.
Also of note: a couple days before our reservation started, we needed to change the date a bit by checking in one day later than originally planned. The Customer Service rep that I talked to (Whitney) was very helpful and she changed our 3-night stay to start when I needed it to. Very much appreciated!!
I will definitely use Cabins USA again for our next visit to Gatlinburg, and quite possibly stay in this same cabin.
Heaven Gift was a very nice cabin , driveway was a little tricky, we seen a bear a couple days while we were there. Relaxed in the Hot Tub . The only thing that should be changed is there is trash everywhere around the outside of the cabin and the can they have you put the trash in out side doesn't even have a lid , should have a Container that bears can not get in.
Overall the cabin was very nice. A few minor things like the gap under the door, missing/broken blinds on some windows and maybe a pizza cutter would be good to have. Glad we read previous reviews saying that the gps will say you're there before you actually are, it's just a little past that. Very secluded cabin. Location is a about a 20mn drive every time you leave the cabin to go anywhere. The garbage definitely needs to be in a cage with a lock. We will most certainly book with cabins USA again!
I would like to say, it was the most AMAZING little cabin nestled in the mountains!! It always makes it feel like that's our Home away from Home!! I am sooo EXCITED because I am going to try and start booking through Cabins USA for next year!! I want the whole family to be apart of our Vacation and I know that you have the BEST in mind for a large family!! And I LOVED the fact that you all kept us informed about the water problems for the town and cared enough about us to send a text message concerning the matter!! Thank you again, for being a GREAT and CARING company!! We will be calling SOON!!!
Overall my family I enjoyed ourselves. I only handful things about cabin...The blinds were broken and lights come in, For Vacation I want to sleep in. Also GPS said your there before you reach the driveway, drive a tiny bit further it's first driveway on your right and it's sharp turn. (No sign til you get to the cabin) And NO WI-FI! But we did have service. The room down stairs no TV. About 20 mintues drive to The Island. (We used the back roads) Honestly I was afraid after reading the reviews but I give it 8 out 10 ! Just cause of things I wrote about.
If I'm being completely honest after reading some of the reviews I was scared to go. BUT! will say it truly is heaven gift! I've never in my life been so relaxed and comfortable somewhere I've never been before! The fireplace had to be my favorite part the only time we didn't have it turned on was when we were asleep as well as the pack porch I have recommended this cabin to several people now. I cried when we had to check out because I just wanted to stay one more night but I wasn't sure if they do all the sudden add on days. The view, peace, quiet, is something unexplainable! Thank you Cabins USA for a weekend I'LL NEVER FORGET!!
We stayed in Heaven's gift on Dec 30th for 4 nights.
There are a few things I think is not clear when you book:
1.NO WIFI, you will have to use your hotspot to get internet.
2. I knew about the recommendation of an AWD vehicle (which we have) due to the gravel road and steep driveway but what I did not know was that it very secluded, probably more than what we wanted. There is a long gravel road that leads to the driveway with no lighting at all. Pretty dark when driving back at night after activities. A few cabins in the area in general.
3. Location: not as convenient as we wanted. It takes about 27-32 minutes to get into Gatlinburg coming from the Arts and Craft area. It's about the same into Pigeon Forge/Pkwy.
4. Very basic interior: Upstair bedroom and family room have small t.v's, the 1st-floor bedroom does not have one.
5.No hand soap dispenser to use in any of the bathrooms, besides a bar of soap that can either be used for the sink hand washing or showering. This is a basic necessity, especially during covid. No sponge to wash dishes either. Basic kitchen items as well, a few pots and pans, etc
The cabin, however, has a fantastic mountain view from all of the back windows and kitchen window, almost a 180 view. We had snow on the last day there and it was breathtaking! We still had a great time together spending quality time, playing pool, rocking in the back deck rocking chairs, and enjoying the view. The list above is to help others when choosing a cabin, especially if you have bad eyesight at night or no AWD, and possibly trying to get some remote work done. We are long-term customers of Cabins USA and they have great customer service! we probably will choose a different cabin next year as this company has plenty of variety to choose from. The only thing I would recommend is maybe trying to clean up the garbage under the porch by the cabin on the mountainside. I understand it probably blew out of the garbage can because while we were there the empty can had blown over. But when you're on the porch looking out it's a gorgeous view but there was unfortunately a decent amount of garbage all over. Other than that it was a nice cabin.
Our stay couldn't have been more perfect! The views, the cabin, the everything. Ok...the driveway was a bit sketchy....but we loved it. Just don't listen to your GPS when it says 'Your location is on the left", because that's the ravine. HAHA. Just drive a bit further and then drive up the driveway. We loved getting up in the morning to watch the sunrise. We truly relaxed and just enjoyed some quiet time. We brought a puzzle and put it together after sunset. The cabin is very well maintained. Best vacation in a very long time!
this was my second time staying in this cabin and it still is a great place to stay. loved the view and sunsets. had more of my family with me this time around and they loved it as well. my niece and her friend was a little disappointed that the hot tub need repairs and they didn't get to use it but overall they liked the cabin as well. thanks cabin usa for all the help you provided while we were there.
1st time using Cabin USA - family of 5 - The view is awesome. Beds were comfortable - plenty of blankets/pillows. We loved having the pool table - we played pool anytime we were in the cabin and had family pool nights. It was great to have a washer and dryer to use when needed. Express Check In/Out is the way to go!
Not really issues, but items that can probably make the next persons stay better if fixed: no water pressure in either showers, upstairs shower never got hot only warm, downstairs bedroom- ceiling fan pull string was broken so we couldn't increase the speed, blinds broken in bedrooms and downstairs bathroom, we don't think the hot tub was cleaned, but maybe because it leaks? - we filled it that morning and came back and half the water had leaked out, downstairs shower wasn't draining properly (I fixed the problem and would recommend a hair stopper be placed) also recommend changing out inner shower curtains.
If planning on using the pull out mattress would recommend layering several blankets or if you have a mattress pad bring it with you if not all you feel are the springs in the mattress. Our girls slept on it so it wasn't too bad for them, but an adult might not be that comfortable.
We have a Yukon XL so navigating the drive way was tricky and a little scary since there's no guard rails. If you have a similar vehicle would definitely recommend backing into the drive way because there's about 8 inches of pavement missing at the bottom so it could possibly mess underneath your vehicle up. Also when leaving making a wide turn rather than hitting the damaged bottom.
Overall, we did enjoy our stay at this cabin and we would rent from Cabins USA again!
Beautiful cabin and location. However, when we arrive the blinds were all tore up on the inside of the cabin. The showers were very tiny and didn't have the best water pressure. If it weren't for those small issues the cabin would of been perfect. The driveway leading up to the cabin was a challenge but most driveways are like that in the mountains. Overall, I would stay here again.
Overall, the cabin was great. The worst of it was there were torn blinds that takes away from the awesomeness of the cabin, and the ceiling leaked when upstairs shower was being used into the kitchen counter. The water in the showers was not hot all the time you were in the shower, it was a hit and miss. But...the cabin was beautiful and the hot tub was superb, the fireplace was awesome, and the washer and dryer was great to be able to use. The bed upstairs was not as comfy as I'm used to at home, but it was okay. The view was awesome. We had a great time! My grandsons stayed in the hot tub every chance they got. The driveway was tricky at the bottom, but once I learned how to best turn up it, it wasn't a problem. I recommend Ed this cabin to my cousins up North who are planning a soon trip.
Our time here was truly a gift! So clean and decorated very simple but beautiful. We are already planning on a trip this summer. This will be our getaway spot from now on!
The cabin itself was wonderful the beds very comfortable my only problem was I didn't realize there was no wifi and the bottom of the driveway will tear your car up if you're not careful more pavement should be added there and maybe safety railing along the edge of top of drive for safe turnarounds
The only problem was that the propane tank was low and the smell was in the cabin. The only fix they did was turned it off. So I didn't have a chance to enjoy the fireplace.
We loved the cabin..very nice and secluded. About 10-15 minute drive to town and the parkway so not too bad of a drive. For the most part the cabin was clean...there were a lot of cob webs in the shower and bathroom area that I thought could have been taken care of but not a deal breaker. We had an issue with the hot tub not getting really hot and all the jets didn't work. We called maintenance and they came out the next day and fixed the heat part of it but the jets were never fixed. The major complaint I had was when we walked up to the cabin on our first day, the blinds that were on the front door and front window were just mangled and hanging like a dog or maybe a small child had ripped them all up. I was very disappointed in that, I thought they could have at least been replaced or just taken down. We took them off and put them in the closet while we were there because it made the place look cheap and not taken care of, for the price we paid for the cabin, I would have expected for those to replaced or at least removed, not really what you want to see when your walking up to your cabin to begin your vacation. I would recommend Cabinsusa and would stay there again but would suggest a more thorough cleaning and walk thru of the cabin before new guests arrive. Thanks
Cabin is definitely secluded although the driveway is tricky to the point of being dangerous. The incline of the driveway to the cabin as well as the gravel lane from the road is one way. Cabin itself was very nice and clean. Could have had a few more amenities for the number of days rented. Microwave needs repaired.
From the moment we arrived everything was completely perfect. We loved the view as well as the secluded location. The privacy to enjoy our 15 anniversary was incredible. We are now looking to come and stay at the same location with our sons. We foresee many more vacations through cabins USA.com in the months and years to come.
We absolutely loved the cabin. I took my girlfriend to Gatlinburg to the cabins and lucked up and found this very nice stay. The thing i liked about it was that it was so secluded. Only 4 or cabuns were around but they were a lil distance off so you had your privacy. I wanted so bad to see bears or mountain lions but i guess they are in hibernation. The only thing i really hated was the upstairs shower was small and the hot water didnt work in upstairs showers. Could have been probably an easy fix if i called maintenance. Oh yeah we couldnt get the cable to work when we got there so i calles for maintenance and they were there in a jiffy. Came so fast as if they were right down the street, so that was good. Cabin was very nice and appreciate the stay..
Very outdated. In need of some upgrades. As in most reviews yes the driveway is tricky. We pulled past the driveway and used 4high in our pathfinder and backed up the asphalt driveway. We stayed 2 nights and wasnt there much but some notes if you plan a long stay. Only 4 coffee mugs and they are very small and only 5 glasses but it does have a dishwasher. Secondly the trashcan doesn't have a cage like most other cabins so I suggest taking your trash into town as we had the garbage knocked over the first day with minimal trash. It is very secluded and right in the middle of the woods with a decent view of sunrise. About 15 mins from the parkway but great back access to get to sevierville or Gatlinburg. The king bed is on the 2nd floor and the second floor needs some blinds or curtains as there is nothing on the window. If this property gets some new area rugs and a new dining room set we would stay here again. ALSO NO WIFI
The cabin itself is beautiful, but getting to it was a bit tricky with the driveway up to the cabin (and we had a 4WD F250 truck. The decor really needs to be updated a bit - like newer comforters, upstairs bedroom needs blind or curtain on the window and get rid of that ugly tablecloth. But those are just cosmetic things, I know. Our biggest issue was there were hundreds of dead Asian ladybugs on the floor at the base of the windows, on the countertops and some on the upstairs bed. Yuck.
But we have rented from Cabins USA in the past and we will keep coming back. Maybe just a cabin a little less secluded and more updated.
The cabin didn’t have an iron, and a hair dryer would have been convenient. Other than that, it had everything we needed. It was secluded and the privacy was worth the drive to the property.
Our overall experience was top notch. Check-in and out was done all from the convenience of my phone. We were given very detailed directions and instructions for the keyless entry. This cabin does have a tricky driveway which is disclosed in your email 24 hours prior to check in. We found it best to back up the driveway. I would not suggest this cabin if you have a car! You will most likely drag. We enjoyed being by ourselves verses being in a community with a bunch of cabins on top of each other. We did come before the leaves were on the trees so we had a very nice view of the mountains. Our only complaint was the cabin is a bit outdated(shown in the pictures) and the windows and under the beds were dirty. Other than that we experienced no problems and had a fantastic stay. We will be staying with Cabins USA again but might try a different location.
The cabin was absolutely beautiful! Amazing views and everything was perfect. This wasn’t our first time using Cabins USA and definitely won’t be our last!
Working with the Cabin USA team was a very pleasant experience. The worked very diligently in trying to find the perfect cabin to suit our families needs. The cabin was beautiful, however it did not seem to have been vacuumed very well, the grounds outside the cabin was full of trash (beer cans), and dead ladybugs were everywhere (window seals, floors, and on the beds and pillows.) The dive way to the cabin was very treacherous and smaller vehicles would scrub as they were leaving and with all the potholes you had to take it very slow. We enjoyed our stay just wish that I didn't have to do the cleaning before we could begin enjoying the stay.
The whole process was easy - from booking online, checking in at the office, checking out. We even added a night to our original reservation with no issues. The cabin was what we expected as privacy, but yet convenience to Pigeon Forge, was what we were looking for.
We were very pleased with Cabins USA and with our selection, Heaven's Gift.
We arrived at the cabin in darkness and found the driveway somewhat challenging. However, we learned in the light of the following day, it was easier to backup the driveway instead of making the steep turn. The light above the door with the coded lock was out. Thankfully I had my flashlight to light that side of the porch for us enter safely. Staff quickly repaired the light the following day. We did encounter a lot of lady bugs inside the house. They were everywhere! They appeared to be dead until the house warmed, then they began to crawl and fly. We also killed a wasp over the kitchen table. Otherwise, we enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. I am familiar with the area and knew quick routes to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Any GPS app should help you find the same. The beds slept very comfortably and the staff left plenty of dishwashing liquid for the sink and dishwasher.
I would definitely recommend staying at this cabin. We had a fun and relaxing time with our kids in celebration of my wife's birthday.
The cabin is somewhat private.. the one lane gravel rd to enter and exit isnt fun when you meet another.. one of you has to back all the way up.. the cabin has no toaster.. 2 ironing boards with no iron.. even though it was cold at night the cabin has red wasp infestation and they will attack.. I got stung ..so you cant enjoy being outside during the day.. at night you cant sit outside or use the hot tub due to bears and mountain lions.. we had both.. the two TVs have to watch the same channel cause there is only one dish box.. oh and the turn into the cabin is very sharp.. I dont recommend taking a 4 wheel drive ..
Absolutely wonderful stay! Very quiet and peaceful, somewhat secluded as we desired. Only concern is the road leading to the cabin is very narrow. If you drive a vehicle that’s low to the ground there is gravel leading to it. Definitely not an issue for us. We would definitely stay again.
The stay was lovely. Everything was great. One small issue was with the battery being low in the Carbon monoxide alarm there was a high pitched beep every couple of minutes. I tried to open it from the front unsuccessfully but didn't want to break it. Aside from that, the stay was exceptional.
We loved the cabin itself. It was beautiful. The only thing that was bad was the lighting in the kitchen. It was terrible. It definitely needs to be upgraded. Entirely too dim right now. The one and only thing that has made us decide to not stay at this cabin again (And this is the second time we have stayed there) is the aweful driveway. It seriously needs to be repaired. The drop off at the driveway is something that should just be fixed. There is no reason it can't be repaired before someone ruins their car. It is much worse than the first time we stayed there in 2016..and it was bad then. If they ever fix it, we will be happy to stay there again. Oh, and the water pressure isn't the greatest but we can deal with that. Over all the cabin itself was beautiful. Just the lighting and the abysmal driveway were an issue. The hot tub was a massive plus.

We loved the cabin, it was beautiful. We will be back. The only negative thing we have to say, the drive way was horrid, even though we had to swing wide to get into the main drive way, where the asphalt and gravel meet, it was washed away really bad, it was really difficult for us to get our car over it. The rut was really deep. Other than that, everything was great!!!!
