Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede has been a Smoky Mountain family favorite for nearly 3 decades. Since opening in 1988, this dinner show has become synonymous with Pigeon Forge and the great region. As of 2018, this show has been renamed "Dolly Parton's Stampede," but it still offers the same great entertainment!

With two shows and dinner in one ticket - there's no doubting why many families choose Dixie Stampede TN for a night of entertainment in the Smokies. Dixie Stampede Renovations

In of February 2015, Dixie Stampede underwent a 2.5 million dollar renovation that will offer a new set, new music, special effects, and fantastic surprises for audiences.

Another addition is a high resolution back drop to incorporate video into the show to bring the smoky mountains to life for visitors. Despite a new look and new music, Dixie Stampede promises to keep audiences spellbound by it's classic charm. Other mainstays of the Dixie Stampede show include its dedicated cast of performers, riders, and 32 horses.

Starting Feb. 13th, 2015, audiences will be delighted by the new look of this classic Pigeon Forge dinner show.

Pre-Show Entertainment at Dixie Stampede

The Dixie Stampede Tn experience begins before the show. If you arrive about an hour before the dinner show, families can wander the open air stables and meet some of the favorite members of the cast – the horses! Kids and horse-lovers will delight in seeeing the muscular build of the American Quarter Horse and the golden coats the Palomino up close.

After meeting true stars of the show, one of Dixie Stampede's charming Belles will direct you, sashaying their beautiful Antebellum dresses, to the 2-level Saloon. Here, you can enjoy the opening act.

Mountain Ruckus, a bluegrass trio, will bring smiles to your family's faces with their pickin' and grinn'. Lively renditions of bluegrass and country favorites as well as a few surprise numbers from the pop charts make for wholesome family entertainment for everyone in your family - from Grandma to Jr.

You'll enter into the 35,000 square foot arena to enjoy the show, but one of the highlights of this show is filling 4-course meal that is delivered throughout the show. You'll be seated in either "The North" or "The South" sections (Rumor has it the best seating is in the South section) for the show. During the show, competitions between the North and South's respective performers are held.
