Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede has been a Smoky Mountain family favorite for nearly 3 decades. Since opening in 1988, this dinner show has become synonymous with Pigeon Forge and the great region. As of 2018, this show has been renamed "Dolly Parton's Stampede," but it still offers the same great entertainment!

With two shows and dinner in one ticket - there's no doubting why many families choose Dixie Stampede TN for a night of entertainment in the Smokies. With daring stunts, side-splitting family comedy, and, of course, delicious food, a trip to this dinner show may start (or continue) a family vacation tradition.

Dixie Stampede Renovations

In of February 2015, Dixie Stampede underwent a 2.5 million dollar renovation that will offer a new set, new music, special effects, and fantastic surprises for audiences.

Another addition is a high resolution back drop to incorporate video into the show to bring the smoky mountains to life for visitors. Despite a new look and new music, Dixie Stampede promises to keep audiences spellbound by it's classic charm. Other mainstays of the Dixie Stampede show include its dedicated cast of performers, riders, and 32 horses.

Starting Feb. 13th, 2015, audiences will be delighted by the new look of this classic Pigeon Forge dinner show.

Pre-Show Entertainment at Dixie Stampede

The Dixie Stampede Tn experience begins before the show. If you arrive about an hour before the dinner show, families can wander the open air stables and meet some of the favorite members of the cast – the horses! Kids and horse-lovers will delight in seeeing the muscular build of the American Quarter Horse and the golden coats the Palomino up close.

After meeting true stars of the show, one of Dixie Stampede's charming Belles will direct you, sashaying their beautiful Antebellum dresses, to the 2-level Saloon. Here, you can enjoy the opening act.

Mountain Ruckus, a bluegrass trio, will bring smiles to your family's faces with their pickin' and grinn'. Lively renditions of bluegrass and country favorites as well as a few surprise numbers from the pop charts make for wholesome family entertainment for everyone in your family - from Grandma to Jr.

You'll enter into the 35,000 square foot arena to enjoy the show, but one of the highlights of this show is filling 4-course meal that is delivered throughout the show. It would make sense for a show about the South to not have great Southern food, and Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede does not disappoint. Throughout the show, you'll get to enjoy:

Insider Tip: While the food at Dixie Stampede is rather delicious, vacationers eat their food without utensils. This means that dinner might get a little messy, and, while there'll be plenty of napkins provided, it's probably not advisable to where your favorite shirt.

You'll be seated in either "The North" or "The South" sections (Rumor has it the best seating is in the South section) for the show. During the show, competitions between the North and South's respective performers are held. Audience participation points are tallied at the end of the show to see who really won the battle of Dixie.

There are several boxes that can be checked to broaden or narrow your search. Once search results are provided, you can sort your results by bedrooms, name, rate, and rating.

After your first search, it isn't necessary to click the "search" button again as this feature will automatically filter your results for any new search features you provide, unless you change the date, the number of nights, or go to a new webpage.

It isn't necessary that you wait for a search to be completed before you select or deselect different search features.

When browsing results, you can add them to your "favorites" by clicking the red plus mark on the bottom left of your desired property. You can view your selected properties by click the "favorites" tab at the top of the search bar.

Add/Remove Favorites
When using our "search" feature, you can make a list of favorites. After doing an availability search for your desired vacation date, our site will produce a list of available cabins. Simply click the "+" sign on the lower left side of the property you are interested in.

Doing this will add the rental to your favorites list. You will notice that the "+" has now changed to a "-". You can click this minus sign to "unselect" this property from your favorites list.

You can also remove a property from your favorites list by clicking the minus sign to the right of the property name under the favorites tab. Additionally, you clear your favorites list by clicking "remove all" on the favorites bar. After doing this, you will have to perform a new availability search.
The number next to the favorites tab is the number of properties you have selected.

View List
To see all of your favorite rentals on one page, simply click "view list"

Compare Favorites
Under the favorites tab on the search bar, you can view your selected favorites. By checking the box next to your selected rentals, you can compare up to three properties.
Simply select the 2 – 3 properties you wish to compare, then click "compare" to see these rentals side-by-side.
Once you find your perfect rental for the right date, simply click "book now" to begin the booking process.
