Spring Rod Run Smoky Mountains

The Rod Run in April is the biggest Spring Car Show in Pigeon Forge, TN. Considered to be one of the largest and best car shows in the nation, the Spring Rod Run attracts thousands of car enthusiasts and their hot rods to cruise the Pigeon Forge Parkway during this landmark event.
The main hub of the event will be at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, a new convention center in the heart of Pigeon Forge. Here, you'll find vendors, pristine show cars, and free parking. In the past, entry into the LeConte Center has been $10 for a weekend pass. Since this event takes up the entire Parkway, the entry for the Rod Run is free since there are gorgeous rides and mean machines throughout all of Pigeon Forge, TN. Some people simply bring lawn chairs to sit along the parkway and watch the cars roll by.

For example, to see the National Park, simply drive to the national park entrance in Wears Valley instead of taking the Parkway to Gatlinburg.

Rod Run goes on late into the evening. In fact, it doesn't seem like many Rod Run attendees get very much sleep at all during the weekend. Guests staying along the Parkway in hotels and motels will likely hear partying, revving engines, and burnouts long into the night.
