I see the wreath indicating that my cabin will have Christmas decorations. When will these decorations be up?
Some of our cabins will be decorated for Christmas. We are unable to guarantee an exact date that the decorations will be in place for each cabin, but every effort will be made to have them in place the week of Christmas. The decorations will remain in place through the New Year holiday.
What happens to my deposit in the event that I have to cancel my reservation?
Cabins USA understands that circumstances can get in the way of plans that are made in advance. As long as a potential guest cancels their reservation 30 days prior to arrival there will be no penalties. Cabins USA will give you 1 year to reschedule your stay and apply your deposit to that stay. If you have further questions on this topic please see our policy page.
Does Cabins USA have pet-friendly units?
Yes we do have cabins where the owners allow for accompanied pets weighing no more than 25 pounds. When searching for a unit during the dates you would like to stay toggle the advanced options button and check the Pet Friendly box.
What should I do if there is an issue with my cabin during my stay?
Issues can occur during your stay that can tend to be a nuisance. In the event there is something with your cabin that is less than satisfactory please call the reservation office and report it to us. We will be more than happy to fix the issue for you in a timely manner so you can go back to enjoying your vacation.
What should I do if it snows and I can't access my cabin?
All of our units have relatively easy access on paved streets. Though significant winter storms are rare, some units may require 4 wheel drive and/or tire chains during winter storms. Road surface conditions are not guaranteed at any time. In the event that one is unable to get to their cabin due to weather, every effort will be made to move the reservation to an available cabin that is accessible. There are no refunds given due to weather and we do not provide transportation or take responsibility for towing service.
Are there certain times of the year that I cannot use the fireplace?
During the warmer months, most gas fireplaces are disabled as operation of gas fireplaces during these times could cause an A/C failure.
What are your check in and check out times?
You can check in between 4 and 10 p.m. On your day of departure your check out time is 11am. Please call the reservation office and notify us of your departure. Please view our policy page for further questions on this topic.
